Movies so bad that they're good.

Wow, I didn't think anybody else would come up with Clue... AWESOME bad movie.

Also gotta go with "Invasion USA"... I had a thread on here about this a couple weeks ago. Chuck Norris: "If you walk back in here, I'm gonna hit you with so many rights, you'll be begging for a left."

GOLD.

Anyone ever seen Fantasy Mission Force? Now that is a bad movie, yet it's incredibly amusing just because it's so bizarre and non-sensical.

Was Jackie Chan in this?

The Big Brawl and The Protector are 2 of the early 80s movies that tried to introduce Jackie Chan to the USA audience but were just crap. The Big Brawl has Jackie in a time piece where he is in a MMA competition, I think he fights Ox Baker in this one. The Protector has Jackie as a police officier, in a Rush Hour/Police Story type movie but with Danny Aiello as his partner.

I think Fantasy Mission Force is a Jimmy Wang Yu film with Jackie in the movie for only ten minutes but all the releases of this movie put Jackie's name and picture all over the cover.

Well, Jackie is actually in it for more than ten minutes. It's a bit of a stretch to call him the star, but he sorta could be.

Hilarious movie though. I found it at Wal-Mart for 5 bucks on DVD. Money well spent.

Clue wasn't even remotely bad. Campy, sure. But it was very well made.

The Stupids is a good pick.

When I saw the topic, the first movie that came to my mind was "Steel" starring Shaquille O'Neal. HBO played it quite a few times a few years ago and I couldn't stop watching it. Unbelievably stupid, yet funny.

Clue - Funny as hell for an 80s flick. I think one of the endings was screwed up, though....forget which one. Oh, and I think the chick who played Mrs. Peacock is dead now or something.

Good Burger - I wouldn't even consider this a bad movie since it's so good. Not to mention Kel was such a cutie at the time.

Deep Rising - The main guy seemed bored out of his mind, Famke Janseen was okay. But any movie with the awesomeness of Steve Sommers and Kevin J. O'Connor [who also worked together in The Mummy] will provide at least a few comedy moments. Plus, KJOC was just gold in the movie.

Lord of Illusions - Another KJOC flick. Most of the movie didn't make any sense, but KJOC, in my opinion, is an underrated actor............too bad he's in a lot of forgettable movies.

I'm debating on if Sister Act 1 & 2 fit in this category.

Steve Sommers was the guy who said "Did You Miss Me?" I really do not see any redeeming factors in that movie.

Good Burger

Kel: "CHICKEN! CHICKEN! (makes the chicken flaps with his arms) MOO! MOO!"

seven years later, and it still holds up...

I'm a stickler for This Island Earth, mainly because after watching MST3K make fun of it, I just couldn't stop laughing at the stupidity.

Also, The Stupids, Clue, Camp Nowhere, Encino Man, all good movies...but once again, it has been forgotten...one of the greatest bad movies of all time...THE PEST!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE NOBODY HAS MENTIONED IT...for SHAME...The greatest movie ever made...Leguizamo never got his Oscar nod :(

Steve is the director. Did he put himself in the movie? I can't remember.

A lot of stupid comedies fall into this category. "Dude, Where's My Car?" jumps to mind. It's so mindlessly absurd and so brutally bad that you just HAVE to laugh at it. Other similar comedies are the same way.

I loved that film! Give me that over any Woody Allen film any day of the week.

Did they make a fourth Toxic Avenger film or am I mistaken?

I HATE that movie....it was the first time I ever felt PISSED OFF at spending my money to go to the movies. The second and last time was Mortal Kombat Annihilation. Everything else I've seen I get SOME sort of satisfaction from and I've seen a LOT OF SHIT.

Eddie Murphy's The Golden Child. Lousy premise, terrible acting, horrendous special effects, but god damn if I don't stop to watch it every time it's on.

I LOVED The PEST~!

SEAN CONNERYS BURTHDAY!

...Still lays claim to being the only movie I watched 3 times in one day.

Let's get stupid, let's get retarded, the pest is gonna get this party started...

Does "Loaded Weapon 1" count? Cause that movie was really good - but I can see how it could be considered bad..

Oh...to answer the original question:

Sleepaway Camp. The acting is atrocious, the special effects BLOW, but the ending will get you every time.

Anyone ever seen "Ice Cream Man" with Clint Howard ?

I saw it on TNT a couple of years back, one of the worst movies i've ever seen, which made it funny.

BLASPHEMY~!

Sleepaway Camp is one of the greatest horror flicks of all time, regardless. There are never any Oscar performances in horror movies, and I can see your point Dames (especially considering the infamous "moustache" on the cop at the end), but I look at Sleepaway as a good movie, not a so bad it's good movie.

To each his own, I suppose. I'm still waiting to see if they go ahead with part 4.

And the ending will get you every time. My mother saw it, and was like "What in the HELL are you watching?"

Pauly Shore makes good mindless comedies

Now the National Lampoon movies with Cory Feldman and Cory Haim are some of the worst late night movies ever put on USA Up All Night.

And I do not see the appeal with Roberto Beneli or Leslie Nelson.

Oh COME ON! The acting is TERRIBLE!!!! ESPECIALLY the owner, Mel, overacting EVERYTHING.

The blood is the fakest I've ever seen and of course, the mustache. The only thing that looks good is the arrow through the throat, which still looks real.

If you take a good look at the money shot, it's just Angela's head photoshopped onto someone else's body!

Oh I know, Dames, I agreed. Notice how I said regardless. I think the best actor/actress in the movie was the girl who played Judy, because I wanted to jump through the TV and fucking clock her. What a bitch.

Still, it's great for camp value (no pun intended) and has one of the best endings in horror history.

go to somethingawful and look up movies, and the bottom is The Ice Cream Man. I remember I was at my Grandma's place visiting on time a few years ago, and on this station, they would always play crappy horror movies, so they played The Ice Cream Man.

It was hella funny..and it also had a killer openning.

Good Burger takes it in the comedy category.

Maybe I skipped over it, but no one mentioned "Big Trouble in Little China"!!!

Best action adventure of the 90's!!
