Guest Flyboy Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Saddam's glasses are spiffy.
Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Saddam wears some pretty big glasses. The things look like Coke bottles.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted March 20, 2003 I've always thought that, if he was still alive, Walter Manthau (sp?) could have played Sadam in a movie. I think it has to do with their sagging cheeks.
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted March 20, 2003 The Aftermath: Iraq gets bombed to pieces, innocent die, since bombs have no boundaries... Suddam stays alive. Bush will get harrassed by UN (ie War Crimes). Bush goes on Power Trip... Bush will be forced out of office, IMO... Blair would be done... War totalling 10-15 days... War on Terror will last until Bush is gone.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Holy shitty footage, batman. Saddam looks pretty tired. He needs some Just for Men for that 'stache Anyone think this is a double?
Guest Tyler McClelland Report post Posted March 20, 2003 I don't think that's Saddam. He doesn't have a double chin in most shots we've seen, this one does.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Holy shitty footage, batman. Saddam looks pretty tired. Being on the run will do that to you.
Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted March 20, 2003 I'd be pretty tired too if I just avoided a bunker buster bomb or cruise missile. He has looked older in the recent footage that has been showed. Anyoen know old Saddam is? 50, 60ish?
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted March 20, 2003 I think this may be a double, he looks thinner, and a little like Iron Chef Sakai - Dictator for Life.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Seriously.. THIS is Saddam? When did he buy coke bottle glasses and read off a legal pad for speeches?

Guest Tyler McClelland Report post Posted March 20, 2003 It can't be him. It's gotta be a double. I also wonder if this is just a ruse by the remaining members of the Iraqi government.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Brian Williams is saving this war. He compared the special effects of Iraqi TV to Monty Python. It's pretty good for a third-world makeup job, but it's really really obvious to anyone that's been watching the endless video archives of Saddam over the past few months. It just doesn't look like Saddam, especially when he looks into the camera.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Even CNN is now bringing up it more than likely not being Saddam.

Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Both Aaron Brown and Shep Smith are wondering if it's him. Brian Williams.... Nothing. EDIT: A comparison:
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Shepard Smith or whoever on Fox news is a fucking idiot. "why are there busses"...30 seconds after the reporter told us the busses were d00ds trying to make some money off of the refugees.

Guest Downhome Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Both Aaron Brown and Shep Smith are wondering if it's him. Brian Williams.... Nothing. EDIT: A comparison: That could be him, just put a hat on him, and the glasses, and it will make his face seem a bit thinner. Besides, I've heard people say that the voice was just the same as it has been in the past. Still possible it was a double though, I wont rule it out. Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted March 20, 2003 Both Aaron Brown and Shep Smith are wondering if it's him. Brian Williams.... Nothing. EDIT: A comparison: what if both of them aren't the real one?
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted March 20, 2003 CNN confirmed it was his voice. I guess he's just really had a rough day. But the eyebrows arch up at different angles. I'm fairly dubious of CNN's voice analyzation technology.
