Guest LLSmoothJ Report post Posted April 11, 2003 I don't know if this is funny, but how about the Guererro/RVD ladder match when a fan snuck in and pushed down the ladder. Then getting decked by Guererro.
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2003 Now that I remember, the funniest thing for me was LL Cool J verbally punking out Booker T... Rebecca Romjin-Stamos getting drunker and drunker on beer as the APA tried to play strip poker with her.. I know that was intentional comedy, but there are times where I wonder what is intentional and what isn't.
Guest evilhomer Report post Posted April 11, 2003 That's what he said at first, but then he started making shrines to her and saying he needed her. I think WWE forgot what DDP's real motivation was. WWE dropping an angle midway through and not carrying through with a storyline??? No way Yeah, it definately got pretty silly there and kind of lost it's initially stated purpose. Of course it didn't help matters that DDP got his ass handed to him in 101% of the encounters.

Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted April 11, 2003 "AND THE ROCK JUST SHOVED BILLY GUNN'S FACE RIGHT INT' THAT LARGE WOMAN'S ASS, BAH GAWD!" I don't know if JR wanted to be funny during that match, but it had me rolling. There's also a moment during the Rocky Maivia/Mankind match at "Cold Day in Hell" 1997 that's subtly humorous JR: They say wrestlers know how to fall (after Rock "Rock-Bottomed" Mankind into the ramp). How do you fall on steel, when it isn't a mat? King:............ watch yer mouth there, uh, JR. JR: Oh, uh, sorry about that It just made me laugh because watching it I realize that JR was exposing the business in a way, during his excitement.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2003 This thread along with the Bossman > Goldberg thread are my early candidates for Thread of the Year... Anyway, at Rock Bottom in December 98, Vince is thinking about going into Mankind's "office" to speak to him about his match with The Rock. That's all well and good, except.... Way down at the end of the hall, Mankind is visibly seen not in his office, and on top of that he's speaking to his opponent, The Rock.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted April 14, 2003 The most recent Triple H vs. The Rock match (from around SummerSlam) had two funny moments: 1) When Shawn Michaels ran in after the match, he tried to dive over the ropes onto HHH. Maichaels caught his foot on the top rope. The camera cut away REAL quick. 2) When Triple H got up, he put one of the "security guards" (who looked like he was groggy from HBK landing on him) in a headlock and dragged the guard up the ramp, trying to make it look like the guy was pushing HHH up the ramp. Guest Cerebus Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Ok i remember it now.... It was when Hogan first came back to WCW & was feuding with the Dungeon of Doom. Hogan is walking through a backstage area ludicrously tiptoeing. He finds a cup of what looks to be coffee and dips his finger in it. "OW! This water's not hot!....THERE'S NO HULKIMANIACS IN HERE!!!" Dungeon of Doom emerge (including Giant) "I KNOW YOU! AND YOU! AND YOU!" Giant then chokeslams him three times.... Clearly Hogan screwed up the line...which made the scene that much more memorable. We were wrong, but that match has been the best contribution HBK has made since his comeback, and it's getting worse and worse with him around.

Guest Valcourt Report post Posted April 23, 2003 I hope no one mentioned this: And it isn't WWF/E.. But WCW not being around to have a folder... blah..blah.. When Warriror (not so "ulitimate" anymore) came to WCW to fued with hogan, he was playing mindgames with him for a few weeks. Right before a commercial Break Hogan is doing something with Bisch in front of a Mirror and all of a sudden Warrior appears in front of Hogan(Through the mirror)... Says something and Hogan freaks out... Only Hogan AND EVERYONE watchign TV including the announcers could see him, but for some reason, not Bischoff, who was standing right next to Hogan... that was the WORST Thing I ever saw on wrestling TV EVER!!! ALso, SO damn funny! Valcourt
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Agreed. HBK can still work when he does. Nash and Triple-Quad have to worry everytime they walk fast. No, HHH can still work. Just not like his old days. Nash had 12 knee surgeries before he wrestled his first match, so it's not like this sort of thing is new to him. HBK has to worry everytime he takes a fucking BUMP. I just find him more entertaining, physical condition doesn't factor into it.

Guest MissMattitude Report post Posted April 23, 2003 That June 9th(?) Raw had three great comedy moments: 'That' tag match. During the lengthy Shawn Michaels promo, he stopped for a dramatic pause. Unfortunately, all the crowd were dead silent because they were bored to tears. All that is, except one man who, during that pause, yelled out very loudly, "Get to the point!". Kevin Nash tearing his quad Triple H beating up 'Katie Vick' and a fan shouts "Your not funny", I laughed my arse of at that one.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted April 23, 2003 During a RAW or Smackdown match involving Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko from whenever Perry was with Terri Runnels, there was a boring spot in the match, and all of a sudden you hear someone yell: "TERRI'S A HO!" Guest JMFabiano524 Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Another great one here. OK, here's my entries: - Steve Blackman yelling at Terry "Ken Shamrock" Taylor - JR's tirade the night Bischoff fired Stone Cold. Highlights include: "He damn robbed Austin of his dreams, and he'll burn in hell!" "Lemme go on record to say that Eric Bischoff is a no good son of a bitch!" Mostly because my friend Mike does the greatest imitation of it. - Hulk Hogan saying "I'm gonna lay the smackdown on his crippled ass!" 100 times before and after running into Rock's ambulance - "YOU MADE ME DANCE FOR SIX MONTHS!" - "I'MNOTAFRAIDOFSNAKE! I, I, I'm...not...afraiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid of it!" - Andre the Giant, Nov '88 SNME - One Ultimate Warrior interview hyping WM6 on Wrestling Challenge. I have this on tape, BTW. Basically, Warrior growls while turning around, and when he faces the camera, he graces us with the following Warrior Wisdom: "Shiati Woyah....schmernen and schwarrrrrrrrrrr hell! Mistintity!" - Shane Helms cutting a promo on the last Nitro (hey, it's technically WWF...) Probably the shock of hearing him for the first time on his own. - Beaver Cleavage (yes it was supposed to be funny, but with me it's because my uncle keeps insisting the gimmick deserved a chance and sings the Leave it to Beaver song when recalling him) - Not technically seen on WWE programming, but hearing the Nathan Jones milk story - Does anyone remember a Rock match or something where Rock has his mouth opened to sell pain, then at the very same moment you hear a loud girlish shriek? - For some reason, my friends and I were also obsessed with how Matt Hardy used to yell, "C'mawn!" He did it a hundred times on one PPV, I forget which. - Scott Dunlap (yes, WCW...but the very definition of laughing at something for all the wrong reasons) - When Dennis Rodman (still WCW I know...) returned on Nitro building up to the HH/Rodman vs. Malone/DDP match. When he was given the mic, for whatever reason all he could come up with was "Hey, hey, hey, hey! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" - Not wrestling related at all, but Karl Malone himself gets a laugh from me for reminding me of Jimmy Kimmel's imitations of him on The Man Show. Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Not sure if he has been mentioned yet or not, but Pete Gas' run-in during Rumble 2000 is gold.
