Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted April 1, 2003 whoops my bad. I forgot Jeff Hardy wrote poetry. Damn, that ruins my theory. My NEXT Guess would be Jericho but he was ON Wrestlemania. Maybe Rikishi, hes sold some merchandise a few years ago and was left off WM.

Guest Memoirs of an Invisible Chevy Report post Posted April 1, 2003 Its Christian.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2003 I'd guess Christian. The guy sounds like he's been there since pre-invasion times, and that rules out a surprising amount of the active roster. Although Al Snow would tie in with the 1.popup/ecw connection. Guest crandamaniac Report post Posted April 1, 2003 What if this is just an April's Fools Joke?
Guest candie45 Report post Posted April 1, 2003 Maybe Rikishi, hes sold some merchandise a few years ago and was left off WM. But the author wrote about how Vince had a hard on for big guys. And now that I think about it, Hurricane hasn't been with the company for years. Ah, what the hell, why am I trying to figure this out when it was probably a random fan? Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted April 1, 2003 RIKISHI! The guy hinted hes been with the fed a long time...(christians been around what? 4 years maybe? Rikishis been around a combined 8-9 years) (reads post before hand...) CRAP! SCRAP THIS message, lol
Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted April 1, 2003 Well if this is real, which it probably isnt', hurricane, christian, and goldust woud be my most likely suspects. The guy talk about "even a backstage promo", and those 3 usually have a backstage promo of sorts on RAW every week.

rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2003 How many pushes has Rikishi had tho? A fuck of a lot for my money. I reckon Dave wrote it himself to give it legitimacy instead of just a random piece about how WWE guys hate Vince HOAX RATING:75%

Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted April 1, 2003 I think it's fake, but maybe it was FUNAKI~! He's on Smackdown, been with the company a long time, and I am assuming that his "Evil" and "Smackdown Number one announcer" shirts have probably sold something. Guest Brian Report post Posted April 2, 2003 It's an April's fool's joke. I was hoping it wasn't, because I didn't think my opinion of 1Wrestling could get any lower.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I like the fact that they played this joke. It makes me feel better about myself that there are sad pieces of crap out there that think they are being clever by trying to fool people on the internet who they never met by making up stuff. I am waiting for the day that something big does happen where they get the scoop on April 1st and everyone just farts all over it figuring it is a joke. The Dames 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 My guess would have to be Bubba Ray Dudley. While he mentioned Nathan Jones is a joke, he might have heard that from someone on Smackdown AND the rosters are together for Mania. He mentions RVD & Kane in his column, but neglects to put over the Dudleys for some reason. The Dudley's sell a hell of a lot of merch. While he's technically a "big guy", he was never given a big man singles push and isn't nearly as big as the HOSSES. As a single, he was dancing all the time. He's been with the company since late '99 and has been on every Mania since. Dames
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted April 2, 2003 "Willie the Worker" put up another column right here: http://www.1wrestling.com/columns/landofzo...&articleid=9765 Looks like this guy's been around since the days of Sable. If this is real, my number 1 guess would be Goldust.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Here it is so you don't have to brave the pop-ups Note: As with his column yesterday, the following was sent to the site by someone who told us that he is a very frustrated, current WWE wrestler. He said that he did not want to reveal his name to us, for obvious reasons. I made the decision to run the column yesterday because the things said in this column completely echo things that many WWE wrestlers have told me in the last week or two. So, even if he isn't a current WWE wrestler (and I am not saying it is or isn't since I have no way to corroborate it), the readers enjoyed the column and asked us to run more. His first column was a big hit, with hundreds of emails pouring in within hours. He wanted to write some more, readers wanted to read some more, so here is the debut column of "Willie The Wrestler" --- Dave Scherer Welcome to my debut column here on the powerful site known as 1Wrestling.com. Dave is telling me that yesterday's column was a huge hit, so huge that he's asked that I'd set up an E-mail address where people could write me instead of you guys overflowing his E-mail box. I did just that and at the end of this column you can have my E-mail address to write me. So, the big question is am I really a current WWE worker? Was it a big April Fools joke? Am I kayfabing Dave? Is Dave kayfabing you? All those question really don't matter now, do they? The fact is that "Willie The Worker" has gotten the attention of the Internet and I'd dare to say that I have the attention of the higher-ups at the WWE. Only I know who I am. Dave has a pretty good idea of who I am, but you will never get it out of him. So from this point forward I will be known simply as Willie The Worker, and I'm happy to debut my first column here on the site called "Bumpin' On The Road." Rena Mero has signed with the WWE. Fart! Are you ribbin me? This "talent" is pushing 40 years old and if I recall correctly, she didn't leave the company last time on the best of terms. Is this the same Rena Mero that bashed the company publicly every chance she got? Is this the same lady that had heat with 90 percent of the locker room the last time she was there? What is Vince thinking? "Hell, we need something to turn these ratings around, let's give Rena a call and see if she wants to come back for another run. Hell, it worked in the Attitude era, let's try again." Is that what Vince was/is thinking? Oh my. Rena Mero doesn't mean squat to this business. They just let go of a talent that I've been very high on for many years, that being Raven. If WWE would have given Raven one-tenth of a push they gave Rena last time she was there, he would have been a huge star right now instead of having to worry about picking up indy dates when TNA isn't running. Raven is a world class worker and I shook my head when I heard they let him go. How couldn't they see what a great talent he was? But yeah, let's bring Rena Mero in for another run. Heck, while we are at it, let's bring back Chyna, Nicole Bass, and Tammy Sytch too. Yeah, that sounds like a great idea. We can call them the Four Horsewomen and have them run wild in the WWE. They could be a group of four nasty heel ladies that are bitter towards the business and are out to destroy Torrie, Trish, and all the current WWE Divas. I hope you know I'm only kidding right now. Gosh, what a mistake bringing her back. Unless Vince pulled a big April Fools rib himself, I can't believe she's back. On another note, the idea of bringing back "Rowdy" Roddy Piper might not be a bad idea. He has to stick to just doing Piper's Pits though once a week, that's it. I don't want to see him getting involved in storylines and working matches, unless it's a legends match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 20. It'll be interesting to see a Piper's Pit every week on Smackdown. I hope they don't do it in the ring. They should build one of those old school sets they had for him like years ago. That would be pretty cool. I'll be back tomorrow with an idea that I've had for a few months now. It's an idea that I think would bring a boat load of mainstream press for WWE. I would pass along the idea to the creative team, but nah. I'm going to debut the idea in tomorrow's "Bumpin' On The Road." I hope you enjoyed today's column and if you haven't read yesterday's yet, what are you waiting for? You can now E-mail me at: [email protected]. And yes, I'd love to hear from the bizoys as well! The Dames 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Not necessarily....all of the things this person knows about Rena could have been hearsay in the locker room. Dames

Guest Basswitch Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I thought could be these people. Christian - Sold lots of Merch with E and C, and is not used right. He may be on Raw, but Raw guys are allowed to hate Jones. Not to mention he has been with the WWE for a long time. Crash - Good Cruiser, but has never had the chance to shine. Jamie Noble - He may not have been with the company long. But He is one the most honest guys IMO. He is one of the first WWE talents to recognize the TNA X division, and say they were doing a good job. Hurricane - Sold Tons of merchandise. Is never on the big show. He seems like someone who would be honest and up from. Not to mention the fact that he has mentioned in his online journals that he does not liek 1wrestling.com, so it would make sence that he would never have seen himself doing this. Golddust - Everyone stated these reasons and more. Steven Richards - has been with the company for a while. He is Raven's best friend, which is why i first thoguht of him from the last article. Plus he is a huge fan of wrestling and has watched it since the years of sable (storm said somthign like that in one commentary) Plus, his role on TV is as Victoria'a bitch. He is only introduced in mixed gender matches, and hardcore ones.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Faker than ever. BTW, remember how I mentioned yesterday that Steiner and Jeff Hardy had shirts a WM but didn't have a spot on WM or Heat? Add Hurricane to that list. I forgot they were selling his "I have issues" shirt. However, I'm absolutely positive those are the only ones. Anyway, I still call bullshit, because Helms hasn't been around in the company very long and I can't imagine Hardy giving a rat's ass about stuff like Sable's drama. The Dames 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 If it is Hurricane, it fits into his mild mannered reporter gimmick. They'd do something with it on Raw, I'm sure. Dames
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 it would have to be someone who didn't make to to Wrestlemania event or even heat...and someone who says he's been there for years.. I also get a Test vibe on this. but here are my suspects Al Snow Asides Tough enough he hasn't been doing much on camera these days Tommy Dreamer we only saw him that one spot n a shirt and tie, I doubt that was the kinda devoted he mean't in the business Christian is another good possibility, he is definately one of these guys who been stuck in second bananna mode for too long and never really got much of a break at a wrestlemania in the singles, except getting Squashed by DDP, then beating Molly then getting beat by Maven yeah that would be frustrating Rikishi, He is one of the longer tenure wrestlers who didn't have a gig at WM. I'd imagine he would be frustrated, especially since after being over for being a Samoan with a fat ass and now he isn't used anymore, because what can you do with a 350 pounder with a thong? Bet he wishes he was back as Fatu in the Headshrinker days. maybe stop Frizz burning his hair. I biggest guess is the one guy..... the one guy from day one seems to have paid his dues into the WWF and was a killer turned Company man after being squashed Molded and Severely misused..... TAZZ! the guy could say he is happy behind the desk now but come on, down deep he enjoyed being in the ring, and having to commitate over the likes of Big Show, Albert putting them over on the mic when He could if he was allowed Dragon Tazplex them both just for pissing him off. Tazz probably had a sour taste when he put over Hulkamania when Hogan came back. The only one sustainable title Tazz had in the WWE was with Spike and the tag team belts, And THATS only because they portraited the stiffest most dangerous wrestler of his size as a UNDERDOG! That just makes you want to Cry TEARS OF BLOOD! I dunno if it was him I think out of the bunch he would be the most frustrated with life in WWE.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Bubba wasn't on the Mania card because he's injured. If this is real Willie is a huge dumbass. They put it over like if his secret identify is found out his job is in trouble. If the WWE higher ups took note of this after one column then surely they should be able to find out who this is in no time.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Yeah, but not only was Helms working for WCW (or was he even there yet?) during the Sable drama, but I can't imagine him doing the bitching of the last column. He's always had the highest profile of the Cruiserweights and is nowhere near as buried in purgatory as guys like Noble and Kidman. Also, although he keeps whining about things going on the Smackdown side of things, do you really think a SmackDown wrestler would have enough time in the day to both do a show, then check the net to responses for his column, then write another one?
