Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 3, 2003 The idea was brought forth as to having a detailed set description for each show, including stuff like the Smarktron, ramp specifics, colors, location of the announce desks, etc. Is this something you would all be interested in, because if so I can get right on it. As examples, Lockdown would have chains, bars, and such whereas Storm would be all electric-like. Smarkdown would have a whole bunch of posters of Scott Keith everywhere. Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted April 4, 2003 Only if we can have the crane like the old WCW Saturday Night set.
Guest Ash Ketchum Report post Posted April 4, 2003 I could try to do some drawings of them. I drew my vision of the Storm set at one time, but I can't find the picture now.

Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 4, 2003 Thus far not a lot of response. If there isn't a big demand for it and you would just rather it remain in the hands of the authors, that's cool. I'll come up with something else to reward y'all.
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted April 4, 2003 it would be cool in a way. Lockdown should have some set of a lock as the enterance, as the wrestlers walk through the keyhole, and above the keyhole in that space, would be the the SWFtron.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted April 4, 2003 I'm all for it. Just tell us three things for each show: - Specific color schemes. - Descriptions the entranceway and ramp set up. - Locations of the Smarktron(s) and announcers' table(s) Since most of the text will be going into the match, this is more like a bonus so we can plot some spots using the set. And I want the entranceway of Lockdown to be huge metal doors that slide open upon entry and close tight once wrestlers step through them, for that "You can't escape FROM DEATH~!" feel. Basically, the WCW Saturday Night entranceway with more of a prison or asylum theme.
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted April 4, 2003 I like this idea, personally. I have a hard time picturing the sets.
janusd 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2003 I'm game for the idea. Knowing the layouts and such would be good for writing specific spots. And I have no comment on what set entrances and such should look like. I'm interested to see what it ends up being.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted April 4, 2003 I want little ring carts that take people to and from the ring like at the earlier Wrestlemanias. That shit never goes out of style. And I still want the Memphis Eel as a color commentator.
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted April 4, 2003 Oh, yeah, the ones shaped like little wrestling rings that the jobbers carried! *writes that down*

Guest Beezel Report post Posted April 6, 2003 Perhaps a more computer-minded person might also come up with the logos for each show. Something to go with the set descriptions.
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Report post Posted April 6, 2003 I remember pitching this idea a few times... I'm all for it. One thing I want to see, is the return of the entry ramp that goes straight to the ring.
Guest Beezel Report post Posted April 6, 2003 Drazon, are you talking about the '92 WCW style ramp that was ring height the entire length?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted April 6, 2003 One show gets a big ass ramp One show gets motorized ring carts The third show can have Z pigging backing people to the ring.
Rawknight 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2003 I can do the logos... list me all the shows (and PPVs?)
Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 6, 2003 Okey dokey. CC will get right on the set descriptions and get them back to you by Friday.
Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2003 That sounds cool, but I don't think it sounds like much of a reward. I see it more or less as something to help the writers with visualization. A reward would be to see The Suicide King Vs. Tom Flesher. Hell, even Vince McMahon goes through a match once or twice a year.
Guest vitriol Report post Posted April 7, 2003 the lockdown entry way should be a gigantic masterlock at the bottom with the ramp coming out of it, and the top opens (as in the lock opening) for entrances.
Guest Beezel Report post Posted April 7, 2003 I actually like that idea.
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted April 7, 2003 A reward would be to see The Suicide King Vs. Tom Flesher. No, see, another loss on King's record might shame him so badly that we'd lose our head booker... and he'd probably drag Stevens out with him... so nope, no Suicide King vs. Tom Flesher coming up.
