Guest edotherocket Report post Posted April 6, 2003 Snippets from Flea's Mailing List on 411mania: Do you know why Team Angle loses all there matches? Apparently, the hierarchy of the WWE is so high on Haas and Benjamin, they feel that the two can afford to lose their matches, so long as they keep the title belts. This is not scheduled to change anytime soon and has some of the mid-lower card wrestlers upset. One of the time honored traditions in wrestling is that if you do the j.o.b., eventually you will be repaid the favor. That’s all well and good, but to keep Team Angle from getting the burial that afflicts so many up and comers, a certain former member of the booking committee arranged so that Haas and Benjamin would do all their losing UP FRONT (but still keep the belts) and then when the time comes, all those wrestlers (i.e. just about everyone) will "owe them" and therefore, no un-push takes place. This BRILLIANT line of thinking came after said former booking member saw everyone get the mega-push upon entry and then relegated to Velocity, or mid card hell. So be ! on the lookout for a long winning streak by Team Angle. They are owed. Item 2 is the reformation of the Clique as a power base, but this one has a catch. HHH, seeing as he is in the company of the upper echelon of the McMahon family and therefore no longer needs to associate himself with a wrestler’s click, is apparently pissed of royally at HBK and Nash for their new clique, which includes, of all people Brian Kendrick!, who just happens to be a protégé, so to speak, of the HeartBreakKid. The actual truth behind Michael’s comeback is it is not for ego, but he wants to pass the torch to * his * anointed second coming, which ain’t Some Othe Guy – it’s Kendrick. THAT is why you see the young lad, not only all over the place, but actually winning matches! Both HBK and Nash love the kid and have made it clear that they WILL PUT HIM OVER. HHH, to a certain point, HAD offered to lose to him, but he does not know why HBK and Nash went behind his back with this. For people who are in the * push new people category * this is a mixed blessing. Also a touchy subject is the RAW announcing team of Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross. You may have read that Ross is giving many of his * day to day * duties to John Laurentis (Johnny Ace) due to an overwhelming workload. Word also going around is that Vince and company are looking for an overhaul of the RAW announcing team, with JR serving as a * consultant * (the dude that tells the announcers information through an ear-piece) and relinquish his on air duties. Lawler, on the other hand, is being perceived as a joke, and pretty much past his usefulness and a credible announcer. The problem is at this point, there are no suitable replacements, which is pretty much the only reason, according to those that know, that a change has not taken place as of yet. One name that is high on the list is The Texas Rattlesnake, depending on if (or when) he decides to stop actively wrestling. At this point, no decision has been made. But combining this with the pending "shake-ups" that are rumored! , a change to RAW might be in the works.
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted April 6, 2003 HBK should convince them to bring in all his TWA grads and put them over too. I approve of *this* clique favoritism!
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 6, 2003 I especially liked the part where he mentions sources and showed how he wasn't pulling this out his ass. Oh....

Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted April 6, 2003 I love Spanky but if he stays witht he Kliq then he's destined to be X-Pac. LoL, speakin' of that little shit head X-pac. I was watching one of those shows on E! yesterday, "The high prices of Celebrity fame; Splits." There was X-pac with his greasy long hair tied back, bandanna, and wearing a huge minx/leopard coat, talking about how hard it is for himself and Chyna to have a relationship because of all the pressure of being a 'Celebrity." Yes, X-pac's own words. He called himself a celebrity. He said something along the lines of "Well, uh, we, uh, decided this is the life we, uh, wanted, so, uh, we have to make the most of it if we, uh, want to, uh, live in the spot light and live the celebrity life style." LoL @ X-pac calling himself a celebrity.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2003 If X-pac is a celebrity, then I guess every wrestler that was on TV is a celebrity. I'd consider all the well-known wrestlers, like Jericho, SC, Rock, etc., celebrities. But that's just me.

Guest commie_050 Report post Posted April 6, 2003 I'll believe this when I see Shawn job cleanly to former TWA champion Funaki.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 6, 2003 Hasn't Funaki sorta kinda made a gimmick of jobbing? It's not like he's just merely a jobber, it's like part of his whole character that you see him coming to the ring and can guess who's going to win.
Guest Basswitch Report post Posted April 6, 2003 Kendrick is awsome. I hope he gets pushed alot, but it would be a serious mistake if he was made into the next X Pac. Also, Funaki is awsome, they need to bring back the whole Kaientai group, and make um a threat again.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2003 DAMN, it would've been so much cooler if they'd have brought in American Dragon instead of Spanky. I was starting to wonder why Kendrick was getting more of a push than most title candidates. Thats a good explaination.
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted April 7, 2003 Or Smackdown is making a half-hearted attempt at rebuilding the cruiserweight division. . . .
Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted April 7, 2003 He spelled Johnny Ace's last name wrong and their were no sources. I still don't get why people say Nash and Shawn couldn't be friends with Kendrick. They don't segregate the wrestlers in real life from talking to each other.
