Anybody mention the sequal to Caddyshack? That was just sad.

I'd like to think that both Karate Kid III and The Next Karate Kid never happened. And does anyone find it hilarious how Daniel-son somehow found a way to piss off three completely different groups of people? The Sports Guy makes a good point when bringing it up.

I know it's not out yet, but IMO there's no need at all to make a sequel  to Meet the Parents. The first one was great, but what else can happen in the next one? Is the girl going to get into all kinds of problems with Ben Stiller's parents?

I agree with you, but it will make shitloads of money ... including my 6 bucks.

I'll have you know I actually mark for Police Academy 3.

Whoever said Disney's direct-to-video sequels of classics are bad hit the nail on the head.

I liked FDTD 3, in a cheesy horror movie way. I do enjoy really bad horror movies, so I may not be the best source for film criticsm.

You forgot 6: City Under Siege and 7: Assignment Moscow. Unless you thought those were good, then you have serious problems. I actually thought they were fairly enjoyable until Goldblum flew away in a hot air balloon at the end of 4.

ace ventura 2

die harder (i did like vengeance though)

european vacation `(xmas and vegas are good)

american psycho II

scream 3

weekend at bernies II (and mannequin on the move) - i mean the first ones are bad enough albeit watchable in a cheesy way

shock treatment (rocky horror sequel kinda)

Back to the future III (especially cause i love II so much)

Beverly Hills Cop III

Waynes World 2

Police Academy after 5 (and thats pushing it)

"Breakin' 2: The Electric Boogaloo"

Police Academy had Steve GUTTENBERG, not Jeff Goldblum, Deacon. And I liked all the Academy movies except Moscow...blech.

Kickboxer 2 was pretty good. The worst of those movies is part 5, though it stars my fave, Mark Dacascos, it has no relevance to the other movies, save for a cheesy tie in where he reads about the death of David Sloan in a paper.

Scary Movie 2 sucked.

I wasn't too big on Class of Nuke 'Em High 2 or 3.

Major League 3: Back to the minors

Now the premisis was good. Though I don't recall if they said in ML2 that Dorn bought the Twins, but I could see the premesis of him being an owner and building the movie around his big league club and one of his minor league affliates.

And I can see the players kicking around down there (the catcher from ML2, I think Cerrano was there as well) but the inexcusable part is having Bob Ueker back as Harry Doyle. I mean really, the character is supposed to be a "long time" major league broadcaster, even if he and Dorn have a good friendship, would that mean he'd be with the Twins broadcast boot and not the Minor league team's?

I could see a cameo when they play the Twins but as the team's broadcaster? COME ON!

For some odd reason, I always get those two mixed up. Don't ask me why.

Has anyone actually seem the Disney sequels or do you not like them on principal. I've seen two Disney sequels (Toy Story 2, Lion King 2) and thought they were both pretty good. Actually I prefer Toy Story 2 to the first one.

damn forgot about toy story 2

that movie is great

but it is more the principle they should leave all the classic ones alone..i mean i know disney is about making money and all but geez

Any of the Revenge of the Nerds sequels ... when "Nerds In Paradise" is the best sequel, you know that you have issues.

Peter Pan 2 pissed me off. I mean, the bratty kid gets freakin' YELLED AT for saying pretend is dumb? That's one mom that needs therapy.

Speaking of sequels, I heard on Entertainment Tonight yesterday that they're making "Legally Blonde 2" *shudder*. Oh, and Shrek 2, which could be good.

Well, also remember, Toy Story 2 was a big box office hit. I think the reference is too the lame ass crap that goes direct to video, such as the HIGHLY INTRIGUING* Inspector Gadget 2!

*notes sarcasm

If people did that, we'd get creativity in business and that's bad. Because if people are creative, they can't force feed us crap as decent. Thusly when some great comes out, we eat it up like candy.

I own 'em all. 3 was bad, haven't really seen 4 (though it doesn't exactly seem as hysterical as the first 2).

Hell YEAH! Treat Williams is the man! Plus in 2 you get a water soaked Claudia Christian and in 4 (actually not called 4, just Failure is not an Option) you get topless Angie Everhart. Always worth the money.

I can't believe people here forgot Alien 3...though Alien 4 was decent

Ace Ventura 2 was also craptacular, the joeks are even MORE forced than the first one

And I agree about Disney movies making sequels...it's like cheapning my childhood, damn it :(

Ace Ventura 2 was horrid.

The sequels after Halloween 2 and Friday the 13

The Karate Kid 3 and Next Karate Kid (Bill Simmons wrote one of the most funny articles analyzing the whole series)

Godfather 2 (just kidding)
