Guest MentallyNormal Report post Posted April 25, 2003 They need robots refs!! An players need to wear body sensors that go off if you are hit with certain pessure for a foul. Ah nevermind someone that programs them will make them favor the lakers.

Gert T 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2003 I almost wish the T-Wolves would lose this one, because if they win it probably gets swept under the rug.

Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Either way the Lakers are going to take the series. The Wolves can't handle this pressure for seven games. Expierence is the key here.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 25, 2003 The one he tried to miss has to be on the list of the ugliest made foul shots.

Bored 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2003 The NBA needs to cut the number of timeouts a team gets per game in half because every close game the last minute takes a half-hour.
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Shaq tried to make the free throw. He missed it. He tried to miss the free throw. He made it He was 60+% for the season and I never thought I'd see that. He can miss and hit as he pleases as long as he av's 60% compared to his 40% a few years ago. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Overrated? I don't like the Lakers, but they aren't even highly seeded and didn't even have a home team advantage in the first round, so they can't be overrated in the playoffs this year.
Bored 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2003 And now we know why the NBA went to best of 7 series in the first round. CONSPIRACY!!!! You just figured that out? It was so funny they suddenly make the change while the Lakers were struggling to make the playoffs and typically a rule change like that doesn't go in effect right away but somehow it did. I don't like the Lakers, but they aren't even highly seeded and didn't even have a home team advantage in the first round, so they can't be overrated in the playoffs this year. The fact that they struggled most of the year AND the fact that they don't have homecourt even in the first round yet many people STILL assume they will win it all does equal overrated. Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Great Game. Great win by the Wolves. Getting this win was key. Being down 2-1 isn't has bad for the Lakers.

Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted April 25, 2003 So you guys admit that the best team will win the best of seven series, i.e. The Lakers.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Not really overrated...it's just that people have been trained to expect them to win come playoff time. It was the same way with the Bulls. It didn't matter what happened during that season or what position they were faced with in the playoffs, people were trained to expect Chicago to win come playoff time. That's not overrated. That's know that the Lakers are the best team. This same team has won three rings. How can you say they are overrated. They can do it for a fourth time...if they got the heart. Guest Human Fly Report post Posted April 25, 2003 You know it is a bad game by the refs when the announcers (or at least Danny Ainge) basically start rooting for one team. They called two fouls on Wally when he didn't even touch the other player, and it looks like Robert Horry took an independent study course in the Vlade school of flop over the weekend. With all of that, especially KG fouling out, the Lakers should have one this game. If the Lakers do end up getting by the T-Wolves, what do they expect to do when they play a really deep team like the Kings?
