Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Report post Posted May 13, 2003 All I could think of as I was watching NJN/BOS Game 4, was how bad did the Pacers have to suck to get beat by that pack of losers?
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I wouldn't say they "sucked", but obviously, the mental focus of the team was never there during the second half of the season because like I've said before, the 1st half Pacers would have slaughtered Boston. Guest Lethargic Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Pierce was unstoppable in that first series and carried the team. He seemed to be more human this series.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Tough luck Boston. I'm anxious as fuck for Wednesday night. (Pistons/sixers) I better grab a ticket today......
Guest notJames Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Sweep! And that final FU trey to the Boston fans by Kidd was the icing on the cake. And Antoine better stop flapping his gums about what management should or shouldn't do. He's kidding himself if this roster won't be shaken up during the off-season. BTW, good luck to Danny Ainge on his new job. He was always one of my favourite Celts.
Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted May 13, 2003 What if Danny AInge can convince Kidd to come to Boston? They always had a good relationship when they were in Phoenix. That would be ironic wouldn't it? Its like Jordan playing for the Knicks!
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted May 14, 2003 Fuck the Spurs. Fuck the Lakers. That is all.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted May 14, 2003 thank god robert horry's doing so shitty.
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted May 14, 2003 Well, at least we know that the Lakers can beat the Spurs at home. A game 7 will be a very hard game to win for LA, but maybe they need to be in that situation to get their asses on fire. It ain't over yet.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted May 14, 2003 I wish Horry would have made it. The Spurs DESERVE to get beat after a comeback like that. Fuck them. They don't even deserve to win the series anymore.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 14, 2003 There is no comeback...If you still lose
Bored 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2003 Even if the Spurs win this series I don't know if they can be considered a 100% lock to win it all if they are gonna have meltdowns like this in the 4th quarter in about every game. They just play to lose come the 4th quarter.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted May 14, 2003 There is no comeback...If you still lose Well, the Spurs didn't fucking win. They got lucky.

Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted May 14, 2003 This series is a long way from over. The Spurs showed that tonight. I have a renewed confidence in my team again.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted May 14, 2003 No they won...And went up 3-2...didn't you watch? he's saying it was the lakers' game to win or lose--the spurs just got lucky cause robert horry missed the 3. i personally don't agree with that; even while the lakers were making their comeback, in the final minutes san antonio proved that they could at least keep it together & maintain the lead. the fact that horry even got a chance to shoot was just bad strategy: the spurs should've fouled shaq as soon as he had the ball, then they would've had 15 seconds to score. if the spurs win game 6 in L.A., they will shut everybody right the fuck up & take their place as the team to beat. but, the lakers will probably blow them out horribly & it'll go to a tight game 7. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 14, 2003 I know what he means... However, A win is a win and it doesn't matter how you win as long as you win
Guest godthedog Report post Posted May 14, 2003 but a win doesn't necessarily prove your worth as a team. if the spurs win just because robert horry happened to miss the shot he's famous for always making, that hardly proves they deserve to be champions. it's like beating the bulls the night that jordan is hurt, it doesn't mean anything. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 14, 2003 None of that proving themselves as a team means anything in the long run. If a team wins their current series they've proven themselves in that series period. I'm sure teams could care less as long as the game ends in victory. Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 14, 2003 If Spurs win than we all can forget the 99 season which Phil or Shaq or whoever said that it should have an * next to it in the history books.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted May 14, 2003 what's the deal with that? i never heard that before.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2003 Tim Duncan is my favorite player, so I'm a Spurs fan but their championship in 1999 does need to have an * because the season was only 50 games long. It's like Phil said, it needs to have an * because the season was played under different circumstances. Does it lessen the Spurs championship? No Phil was playing mind games. He knew that such a comment would be taken the wrong way by the Spurs.

Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2003 Well, the Spurs didn't fucking win. They got lucky. I just love that excuse, all 3045940954 times I fucking hear it during the football season. (Ok, not that exact number, but you get the point) Anyone think the Mavs will put way the Kings for good in the next game? Ditto for the Spurs?
