EDIT: ...now that I've read what's up... I'm psyched for Danny/Drazon II. Beezel has me incrediably interested as I don't remember who in the MC used Joker's Wild. Although, it could be being used just to gain King's favor. The Deja Vu/Justice and Rule match rocked! I'd love to see another funny ass rematch. The nipple twister of doom has to be a finisher though. EDIT 2: Congrats Flesher. That said...I'd like to see Frost's match posted some time to compare the two. I was personally hoping for a time limit draw there folks, that is truly depressing match right before the glorious 4/20. Right, onto the serious comments. The Kriss Kross match was more entertaining than it had any right to be, Tom's winning match was (as always) a great read... the roll-up reversal and Tom just going for anything (spin cycle) was a good touch, the few promos up that I read was very nice. It was as solid a match as can be had in a minute and a half against a referee, ended with a nice angle that brings Danny back without missing a beat, and accomplished what I hope is Danny's badass face turn. I can totally see him being a face without changing his act at all, and that's very cool. MVS vs. Johnny Dangerous From the following match: "Welcome back to STORM! Mark Stevens with Riley by my side and if you missed it, we just had one hell of a match between Mike Van Siclen and Johnny Dangerous," says Stevens. "And we would just LOVE to tell you who won too," says Riley, "But if you missed it that's your own damn fault!" I love shoot comments etc. Beezel over Janus Beezel's a genius, and when you all figure out who he is, you'll go back, look at the clues that are staring you in the face right now, and slap yourself for not getting it. Fine finish.... where have I seen that before? The only grip I had with the match was that at least once you mentioned a rope break in a hardcore match. Bad bad bad. Go say three Hail Grand Slams and six Our Commissioners. Frost Promo Frost and I didn't talk very much about these promos, but they unwittingly played against each other very well, with Frost giving the straight theory that he knows me a lot better than I give him credit for, and me running him down shamelessly (and, obviously, incorrectly) for being stupid. Also, TFDB rocks your world. Justice and Rule over Deja Vu Judge was telling me about this one while he was writing, and I thought, Kris or Kross, whichever, was very right when he said the match Mags and I wrote was far too serious in tone. This captured it perfectly. If you read only one match tonight, read this, if only for the noogie sequence. Nielsen of the Jungle over Jay Dawg of Vancouver Very solid hardcore match, and I can see why Nielsen's the Hardcore King. The abuses of power were great, although there were a few too many assorted body fluids for me. Gruesomecore just isn't my style. I loved the interaction between the wrestlers, and I think that Janus & Fugue may have started a new style of match writing...since they were the first to have Kris and Kross talking to each other in the match. Since, of course, we've patented it and made it into an artform. which then led to Justice & Rule beating us with our own style. Dude, you guys suck! Seriously...it was a good match, but I do have 2 complaints. 1) Our entrance. We come through the crowd, not the curtain. Read the stats more carefully. 2) We're not stupid. We're losers, and slackers...but we're not actually dumb. The point is...there's a spot in there where one of the twins actually just falls off the ropes. I didn't like that really. I felt that spot would have been better if you would have had Fasaki knock him off after the two started arguing. But having them just fall off makes them look stupid as opposed to making them look like losers. It was a good match though...well done. Dude, we're SO getting another shot! I am sorry I forgot to post the match last night, and all of you had to wait until to day to rerad it and find out who won. Totally my fault. No excuses... King has already berated over the phone for forgetting, and I deserved it. If it helps any... I was up until 6 am today talking to two very good friends, and when I finally staggered to bed, the last thing on my mind was the SWF. Once more... Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa... As for Gruesomecore...it had to be for the two "Hardcore Kings" when they met. The vomit spot was only because JD ate a urinal cake and if I ate one...well...ew... I just threw something together in 30 mins, that got the point across, and it came off rather decent considering I've never read a single one of your promos before(sorry). I loved it. But you are gong down this time! I also read Beezel's match... and while I do have some good assumptions on who you are in character... it's how you are behaving out of character that is confusing.
