I'm apart of a e-fed call Xtreme Global Wrestling. I'm the Lightning Kid. A masked luchador who started out as a squeaky clean babyface, but is in the middle of a heel turn. My character is very over and is about to start a feud with the XGW World Champion, Joseph Janus. In the XGW, you must submit a promo in order to win.

I love being the OAOAST more though. I am having a blast writing matches for Puerto Rican Lightning. Thing is, I get into writing my matches so much, that they are long and are of pay-per-view quality. That's a little promblem for the weekly shows.

The only fed I've ever been with has been the SWF. I joined back when it was the IGNWF, and have been in and out ever since. I've given consideration to joining an RP fed, to brush up on my promos, but never went for it.

Notable federation I was in:

SHOOT Project

It was a unique e-fed, having to do with hardcore fighting. I had the best times of my e-fed career there! I was a double champion there.

I'm tempted to post one of my old RPs. I used to get pretty creative with mine.

I'm seriously considering getting back into it if I ever get the time.

Anyone is welcome to come join the OAOAST. We just had a roster split and the shows are taking form quite nicely. Seeing the storylines come together has shown me that this board is filled with people who can write decent material. Gives you a new appreciation for the smarks. People say we don't know crap. Well a lot of us don't, but a lot of people down in the OAOAST seem to have a good grasp.

Go to the OAOAST Home Entertainment folder and read some of our shows and see the collective works of some of the board's talent.

Sometimes you can amaze yourself at that talent you didn't know you had in writing promos, matches, vignettes and storylines. I honestly didn't think I had it in me.

I was in the OAOAST since page four, when I stabbed Caobain was Murdered, I left to take care of things that never got done, or will never be done. I returned and was welcomed back, but over the course of a few months a few important names in the OAOAST said they were fed up with me, and I was no longer welcome here. I hold no grudges against anyone there, if they ask me to come back, I'll step in and no-sell everyone, and force people to job to Metallica again.

Well, for those that know the PTC, I'm part of the Wrestle Online organization. Head to Old School Entertainment,

www.oseentertainment.com

I'm Shawn Stewart, a fighter in the OSF. So, come by and give it a look. Took me a few months in the PWA to get in and right now, with finals and dead week on my arse, I haven't been able to do as much. Still, it's awesome. My poser just isn't ready yet.

I just sent in an app to Intense Championship Wrestling.

And a friend of a friend (all through e-fedding, mind you) is opening his own fed soon. Poor page design, and somewhat generic name, but the staff working it is probably one of the most talented staff of writers/bookers I've ever had the pleasure of fedding with. The link: United Hardcore Wrestling Alliance.

The IWA was just terrible, terrible shit. I never realized it until i got on the net and actually got involved in RP feds.

There was no creativity. No mandatory character roleplaying. Just "strategy" that wasn't even that - it was only picking point values.

I did, however, get to feud with Hurricane Helms when I was about thirteen. That was the IWA's only saving grace.

You know, I was just looking through some of my old IWA bulletins from 96-97 and noticed that a guy named G. Shane Helms was the Commissioner of a league I was in. Was that the Hurricane????

If so...

*MARKS THE FUCK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

I'm an e-fed whore at the moment, being an OAOAST veteran and SJL newbie. It's interesting having two very different feds on the same board.

im in Death Certificate Wrestling ive been in a few other feds but this one is by far the best everything is done in secret ie: you write a promo and action and send it in to the owner and he puts it on the card. so every ppv someone always gets totally screwed over also peaple can really get killed in the death matches

Actually, I'm amazed both survive so well. I mean, both have about at least 30+ (and that isn't including some of the OAOAST members who double up on characters, like myself) rosters. That says a lot about the people here.

Actually, I think the SWF wasn't started here, Dames just gave them the space to do their stuff. That's why you don't see many of their posters in many other folders.

Considering I was formerly one of the SJLers, let me explain.

Originally about three years back (by now it's three I think), the IGN boards were still not Insider. They had a federation on there called IGNWF, and was a kickass place for e-feding. It had been alive and well for a couple of years before that and then poof. IGN went totally Insider without warning ANY of the board members and thusly, since more than half of the original roster at the time wasn't Insider (like yours truly) IGNWF searched around for a new board and finally found this one. Dames took them in and soon after being confirmed that they were staying for good, they renamed themselves from IGNWF to SWF after the boards.

And so everyone is clear, the SJL is to the SWF as OVW is to the WWE. It's a developmental place before you get to the big leagues.

That's how the OAOAST and SWF/SJL are done too. Exept there's not death...most of the time.

It's actually been going on very strong since we got here about a year and a half ago, KingPK. Just not everyone goes out to the other boards. Myself, Ace309, and WrestlingDeacon in particular are relatively prolific. You'll find Coffin Surfer in the puro folder, Tyler around CE, and the mighty 5_Moves_Of_Doom hopping about too.

I too am impressed with how well both the feds hold up. Seems like we both go through downtimes, but there are always waves where new people sign up, get interested, and get rockin'. I love me some e-wrestling, and I'm having a blast now that I'm a booker for the SWF.

Word that, Edwin.

As far as I go, the SWF and SJL have been my entire experience, of which I have spent just over two years of my life on, not to end my sentence with a preposition, which I didn't. I went from a regular n00b to an SJL standout to an SWF World champ to a current member of Creative Control and storyline commish. Needless to say, if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't have devoted so much time to it. The best part is the people you meet. Even the ones you don't necessarily get along with prove to be fonts of wrestling knowledge.

And I too find the Oat Toast enjoyable to read. ;) You know, you don't have to join an e-fed to enjoy it, although it helps. Sometimes you can lurk and be a fan. :)

Usually end up joining from that though. You wanna be apart of the glory and end up doing so.

How I went from CPW (Championship Pro Wrestling) to CWD (Complete World Dominance) to IGNJL/SJL (Smarkmarks Junior League).

The other 33% of SWF Creative throwing his two cents worth in.

A little history first. I have been a member of the IGNWF/SWF family for almost three years. I started off in the JL just like everyone and worked my way up through the ranks. I retired in April of 2002 to concentrate on other things, but could not turn down the Fed when I was asked to help first on the website, then on CC.

We have three shows every two weeks and are very willing to work with schedules when people need a show off here and there.

I looked at a ton of different feds before I joined the IGNWF and the things that were different, the things that got me to join were twofold:

1. The ability to decide what happens with my wrestler. If I want to turn face, I can. If I want to cut a long winded promo about pandas I can. I can be as silly or as serious as I wanted to be. In short, I determined my character's destiny.

2. The dedication of both the "workers" and the "bookers". Everyone involved in this Fed puts in whatever spare time they have to make it better. And it shows.

I encourage anyone who is looking at joining an e-fed to check out the swf at the website. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, Suicide King or Edwin MacPhisto and ask anything you'd like. All three of us worked our way up from JL scrubs to the WF, and all three of us are former World Champions.

In short (I know, too late) this Fed is one of the most enjoyable hobbies I have ever been involved in. I have made good friends and improved my writing ability a hundred percent. I recommend this fed to anyone who loves wrestling and enjoys writing.

I'd shill the SWF again, but I fear that my comments would seem colored by the fact that I'm the World Champion. :D

Ah well. Guess it shows how much I enjoy it.

Yep, I have the honour of being the first person in the OAOAST and quite possibly all E-Feds to be killed off.

Yet I came back from the dead...

Back in 99 when I started, I made my wrestler, T-Bone, jump off of the top of the UWF Arena because things weren't going his way. Paralyzed.

But in the Pioneer Wrestling Alliance in the summer of 2001, this wrestler named Abunai committed suicide in an RP. Universally acknowledged as an awful RP, too, as suicides are things that don't air on wrestling shows.
