Well...Baltimore is the one who got screwed the most.

The Vikes probably lost out on a 2nd round pick that they would have gotten for trading down...but Baltimore didn't get to trade up and ended up giving up a FIRST next year to get a QB that I don't think is nearly as good as Leftwich.

At least Minnesota still got their guy

See...now you didn't hate the Eagles move this year did you?

That is why the Boller love screws it up, because I dont like it either. Suggs and Boller is fine but not as good as Leftwich, a 2 and a 1 next year. But they probably love the deal since they have Boller right there with Leftwich.

I am proud of the Eagles for actually doing something instead of just standing pat and taking whoever falls to them.

In a sort of weird way I appreciat the Bills taking McGahee instead of the 6th best DT or whatever fell to them where the experts said they needed it.

My biggest need going in was a DE...and we got Kelsay in the second round...and only ONE was taken off the board between out picks.

Screw Mel Kiper. He's down on the Bills pick because...and I quote: "They needed a Tight End".

Well I didn't see Jeremy Shockey in this draft...so I'll take the balls out chance thanks.

They lucked out with Kelsay slipping down to them. I love Dallas Clark and think that would have been the smart pick for them, but the two areas that this draft is deep in is DL and TE so I can understand the wait if you want to take the chance.

I just think they have a good enough RB as of now that they didnt need to do it for that reason, but if McGahee gets healthy they have an easy first rounder next year if they trade Henry.

They extended Henry's contract a year...and now I think he's trade bait after this year as long as McGahee continues to heal.

Anyone want a pro bowl running back with thre years in the league and 2 years left on his contract for 1 mil or less?

Now what happens if Henry solves his fumblitits and rushes for 1600 with 14-16 TDs this year. Do you dump McGahee for a 1st next year or still go with him as the future of the franchise?

It all depends on what McGahee has. I trust our coaches and GM to be able to see enough in practice and limited game time.

I hope Henry has that season. I really love the way he runs. The yards and TDs are certainly attainable...but that fumbling has to go.

He fumbled almost once a game for christsake!

I'm excited about the options we have. WE're obviously moving towards a ball possession run first Offense...and if Henry fumbles (remember...he'll get MORE carries now) alot we have Olandis Gary to back up until McGahee can go.

Too much upside to pass up.

How does Josh Reed look? Does he look like the real deal as a 2 or do they need to address that a little?

Peerless Price didn't look like the real deal until last year himself. It's amazing how much better you can play when you finally have a QB to throw you the ball.

The direction of the offense changes completely because Reed doesn't have Price's homerun potential...but he does not drop balls and goes accross the middle (which Price won't do). Reed was considered a potential first rounder last year and he was impressive as the 3rd receiver.

If the idea for this year is to play a ball control style of offense...than Reed's 8 yard slant patterns are a perfect fit. I like him, not as much as Price...but good enough to be the #2 with Moulds on the other side.

What they need is a better #3...cause I don't know jack about Bobby Shaw.

You hoping for Talman Gardner in the 4th? I remember you said you liked him in the mock

I like what he is.

He is what Peerless Price was...fast stretch the field...drop the easy passes...catch the hard ones.

It took Price 3 years to stop dropping passes. Then he busted out like a Mutherfucker though.

I like the added dimension that Gardner would bring...and think he's a good value in the 4th

Bobby Shaw is a pretty good slot reciever. He used to be the guy that Pittsburgh went to on third downs because of his good hands. He was pretty good in Jacksonville last year as a slot reciever and I wish that the Jaguars would have been able to hold on to him. He can return punts too if you need a return man.

The Bills could use a tight end though...remember Ben Coates caught 96 passes from Bledsoe in 1994 and those two used to hook up all the time in New England. If you're going to pass a lot you should have a good pass-catching tight end for another downfield option. There's still some good talent out there...I'm thinking specifically of George Wrightster from Oregon. Maybe Aaron Walker from Florida as well.

And I had to jump on the sig bandwagon as well.

Man, Byron looks good in a Jags jersey...if he develops into the player everyone says he will be it will be good times for the Jags.

Guest Smell the ratings!!!

I will use the sig fad to express disgust.

Anyway, fact is, as good as McGahee could be, you have to look at the Bill's D.

Now they got Spikes and Posey which is great, they have good CB's, but their line is pretty much crap. I think when you already have Henry and Gary it would have been more value to take a lineman.

However getting Kelsay that late was great, he'll start immediatly. But you could have I dunno Peterson on the other side, or you could have Stienbach to replace Ruben Brown. It's just seems like strengthening a strength is all.

ps - Shaw is pretty much the same as Reed, except, y'know, not as good.

The Ravens have 2 4th round picks (1 compensatory), they desperately need to pick up a WR or two. No way will the Ravens be a better team win wise with Todd Heap being their #1 Reciever, even though hes probably the #2 TE in the NFL.

The Redskins only have 1 more pick, #232 in the 7th round..you know they just love having to stay around for that...

Lee Suggs is dropping even further. I guess teams are really afraid that he won't be able to stay on the field.

Apparently Marvin Lewis is a god. He has avoided the first instance of the Bungles curse and managed to have one hell of a draft.

I don't know if it is as much that or just that there are still a few RBs on the board so they are just pushing it and will pick the last one standing since they are all similar.

The Rams are sure taking a lot of WRs this year. Martz is as bad as Spurrier.
