Kliff Kingsbury

---------------------

Notes: Redshirted in 1998. Played in six games and started the finale in '99. Started every game in Tech's new spread offense in 2000 and '01. Completed 25-of-57 passes for 492 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in 1999; 362-585-3,418-21-17 in 2000, when he only weighed 188 pounds by the end of the year; and 365-529-3,502-25-9 in '01. Completed 447-669-4,642-42-12 in '02, when he started every game.

Positives: Very productive. Honors student and academic all-conference. Good height and great leader. Top worker. Smart, competitive and dedicated. Makes calls and manages the offense. Tough and durable. Has a three-quarters to overhand release. Short to medium passer. Can find the secondary receiver. OK on the run and has a sense and feel for the rush.

Negatives: Lacks great tools, and college offensive system enhanced his stats. Has marginal arm strength and worked mostly out of the shotgun. Uses too much touch at times and lacks accuracy and velocity on the deep ball, which he lobs and hangs. Does not drive the ball. Puts too much air under most of his longer throws, which could make interceptions a major problem at the next level. Gets nervous feet at times. Has small 8-inch hands and a slight and slender build. Will struggle with simplistic things, such as center-QB exchange and regular three- and five-step drops.

Summary: Dink-and-dunk passer who excels in a shotgun offense but may struggle with the transition to the next level.

I want Rien Long this pick

5th round - dont know yet

6th round - no pick

7th round- I want David Kircus a division II receiver. I saw him in an all star game and he dominated against any CB he was against making the some of the most ridiculous catches I ever saw.

The other two I can understand. I have no idea why Flyboy has him in his sig.

I marked for McGahee when he played for Miami... as simple as that.

I think TB will take two offensive players with their upcoming picks.

EDIT: Maybe a TE & WR.

Ok Reid I want Talman Gardner this pick. I dont care that a WR was picked last round, hedge your bets and get a second so at 50-50 odds we are covered.

Just read the scouting report sounds like another ND Kalu pass rushing specialist. Not bad at this point to get another pass rusher. You can never have enough guys who can get at the QB. Would have rather had Gardner though, maybe he falls to their 5th.

Anyone else think that Bill Romanowski sounds like a High School Science or Math teacher whenever they talk to him during this draft?
