Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 This week on Confidential, find out what brought Goldberg back into sports-entertainment. Learn how Goldberg's departure from professional football opened the door to becoming a bona fide sports-entertainment phenomenon. Goldberg:"Well, one day, I felt as if I hadn't completed my job of ending careers of good wrestlers with my stiff kick, so I decided I wanted a WWE contract so I could make sure that Chris Jericho was 'next'!" Also this week, tag along with Torrie Wilson as she mingles with fans while signing copies of her Playboy Magazine Fan:"Torrie, what is your favorite match you've had so far in WWE?" Torrie:"The one on Smackdown last week where I botched a tornado DDT on Nidia, and she had to carry me through the whole match. It was cool, because I got to flaunt my Playboy shorts after that!" visit Arlington National Cemetary with Bradshaw and Ron Simmons Bradshaw:"Let's blow them Ahraqi bastards to hayell fer killin' our troops and turn Ahraq into a parkin' lot!" and find out which 1980 match at Madison Square Garden is Tommy Dreamer's favorite of all time Dreamer:"The only reason I'm doing this is because WWE has nothing else for me to do on Raw....stupid assholes...."
Yuna_Firerose Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 (edited) Velocity matches: Shannon Moore w/ Crash vs. Brian Kendrick Jamie Noble w/ Nida vs. Shane Evans [side note here.... on my Tape 11, there was a Velocity match of Evans vs Matt Hardy. Just figured I'd share.] Matt Hardy w/ Shannon Moore and Crash vs. Funaki [Dammit! They just have to have more for me to write, don't they? Now instead of writing Matt w/Shannon for anything, I'll always have to put Matt w/Shannon/Crash. Grr ] Charlie Haas vs Uncle Eddie Velocity looks like an awesome show, but Confidential? The ad they had of Kurt made me interested, but after seeing all the bullshit that's going to be around it......bleh, I may just read more of Red Dragon instead of watching. Guest HartFan86 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Confidential looks good with the Kurt stuff...I'm headed the Portland, ME Raw House Show later tonight, so I'll probably tape it.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Since I moved from Chicago to West Virginia, I've been reduced to watching Velocidential to get my Eddie/Benoit fix, for we have no UPN afiliate here in Wheeling. I have to suffer through all the other crap just to see a few minutes of greatness.
Guest RugbyDiva Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I actually might watch both shows tonight. Considering some of the past ones, they don't look that bad at all.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 matt hardy is the new innovator of offense

Guest AndrewTS Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 "It would take 3 Rey Mysterios to equal one Big Show..." ...that's the end of the sentence? It should end "in weight," you ass.
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Where the hell is Dace when we need to identify a submissive hold?
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 WE WANT EDDY!! But first, a review of the Incredible Brock vs. Hair-Train.
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 (edited) DVD on Brock...and hence Johnny-John will definitely stare up at the lights at Backlash. "Where does Kevin Nash's allegiance lie?" Considering HHH kicked him in the balls and he's on HBK's team, I figure that's a stupid question you shilling little shit. Edited April 27, 2003 by AndrewTS

Guest AndrewTS Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 (edited) I fail to see the resemblance to Meat people keep seeing in Haas. Eddy sells the back like death...cool. HEADSCISSORS! SWEET!! Kiddies chanting "you suck." Heheh. Edited April 27, 2003 by AndrewTS
Guest RepoMan Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 What an odd exchange between Cat and Jush just then?
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 (edited) Er...you sell the back but then go for the multiple suplexes, Eddy? Eh, well, nobody's perfect. Fuck Goldberg...bring on Kurt. What is the point of 5 seconds or so of Stacy between commercial breaks? Edited April 27, 2003 by AndrewTS
Guest RepoMan Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Stacy hosting Slammin' Saturday Night is totally killing the split.

Guest Choken One Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Doesn't Goldberg know you don't wear Straped Hats Backwards?
