It's a good match- it only runs about 10 minutes but it was good.

 

The historical value makes it worth a pickup though

Another off-topic post, but I scored an old Smackdown from 1999. It was tacked on to the back of my 5.31.01 Smackdown. 5.31.01 was in SP mode, so I didn't expect to see anything after that.

 

This Smackdown comes from two weeks before Unforgiven 1999, where the Six-Pack challenge was going to take place.

 

Several notables about this tape is:

--the WWF referees begin their "strike".

 

--HHH grants a World title shot to "someone who has main-evented against Stone Cold Steve Austin in the past".

 

--Cindy Margolis gets figure-foured by Jeff Jarrett (really weird to see THIS.)

 

--Chyna and Jarrett set-up their "Good Housekeeping" match at the PPV.

 

--The five-man "Royal Rumble Rules" match with Rock, Mankind, TBS, Kane and Undertaker.

 

--Ken "Scamrock" faced off against Curtis Hughes (with Y2J on commentary)

 

--...and Vince McMahon wins the World title, by beating Triple H, albeit by interference.

 

Seriously, the tape runs about 5:00 in length.

Yes it's the Kuwaiti Cup that Ahmed Johnson won, the same tourny that Tiger Ali Sighn won also BAH GAWD~!

It was on some foreign tour. Never happened. But it was strange. Bret didn't even have it locked in. Even the crack team of Gorilla and Doc (I believe) called it a pre emptive move by Austin

More information has been received regarding Lex Luger's rumored return to World Wrestling Entertainment. As of this writing, Luger is not in talks with any WWE officials, but he is very interested in returning to wrestling in the near future.

 

Sources have confirmed that Luger is working on getting into "WWE shape" in hopes he will soon receive a call from the company.

 

Luger is currently not listed as appearing on WWA's May tour of Australia.
