Guest SweetNSexyDiva Report post Posted May 14, 2003 X2 Rocked! That was the best movie! I tend to be a little disappointed after all the action and then a movie has a very aniclimactic ending, but the end left just a twinkling of things to come. It made me all the more anxious for the next one!
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 14, 2003 This is honestly the best action movie I have ever seen.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Wait a minute! How the hell did Jason Stryker maintain his hold on Professor X, while ol' Charlie had incapacitated the entire Mutant Population? I thought Magneto was the only one who was safe from the...whatever it was, because of his helmet. Aha!

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2003 This was the best movie I've seen in quite a long time. It *so* lived up to the hype, although personally, I would've loved to have seen more of Pyro. But I'm sure that's why he only had one big explosive, pun intended, scene...a teaser! Magneto's escape...Wolvie's mansion rampage....Nightcrawler's president attack....yeah, they all freakin' owned. Hopefully they release a DVD with everything, instead of two, like they did for the first one. My one problem? I always seem to like the weird, less-talkative ones. In the first one, it was Toad and Sabertooth, in the second one, it's Nightcrawler and Pyro. I think I roleplay too many psychos Until I get some iconage of my own, I'll just use someone else's. Guest ChikoDemono Report post Posted May 18, 2003 I have joined the somewhat elite of watching this movie, and thought it was great. Though, I have a question. Since I did not see the first one, I was shocked to learn that Sabretooth was killed off (although, from some of the posters here, it was a good thing). Anyway, I'm not a big comic book fan and was wondering if anyone can educate me on the entire (or if you are lazy, a simplied version of) history between Sabretooth and Wolverine. Thanks. Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted May 18, 2003 Sabretooth wasn't killed off, he just wasn't in this movie. I believe there was a link to a site earlier in this thread that should answer all of your X-Men questions.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted May 18, 2003 Sabretooth isn't dead, he just wasn't brought back.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2003 That's what I loved about the first one....they didn't exactly show Toad and Sabertooth dying; people just assumed they were. They could always have survived
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2003 As for Mageto's breakout... It was an awesome scene and all, but why did he break out right there? It seemed as though he could've done it anytime he wanted to. Maybe I'm just looking too far in. I guess he just felt as though he needed to breakout right then and there? He couldn't have done it at any time, as no one ever brings in metal into his "cell". Mystique injected that guard with some sort of iron/metal substance, and when the guard went in to give Magneto's food to him, he then used his power to extract said substance out of the guard's body (cool as fuck by the way), and he then used it to escape, as you saw how he did so on screen. That scene had me marking the hell out and at the same time shivering with fear.... Ian McKellen out and out kicks ass. I have said it before, let Halle Berry go her own way and get someone good-looking who can act... hell even give her a Kenyan accent, as Storm has always *had*, since she was born in Nairobi, ferchrissakes.... but also write her into the script better.... if done *right* everyone can have a chance to shine. Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2003 That's what I loved about the first one....they didn't exactly show Toad and Sabertooth dying; people just assumed they were. They could always have survived Thats the Marvel Universe (or even comics in general)... very rarely does any ever truly die.... The only permanent death I could think of was Northstar, when he died of AIDS.... but I am sure there are more examples.
