Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted April 30, 2003 McMahon family problems could be getting worse There are reports that Vince McMahon is getting increasingly paranoid about his company, and is getting worried about a possible power coup. Apparently Vince believes that some officials in WWE are pushing for him to give control of the company over to Stephanie and Shane. This has led to speculation that Vince has taken out his aggression on Shane, and that there is some heat between Vince and Shane at the current time. credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter

I see you watching that NWA and Honor stuff like it was made by me....HIGH TREASON I say...OFF WITH THIS HEAD... *shane is dragged away* ...as for you, Lance Corporal Princess...you show signs of utter stupidity as well...but I like it....I think the Big Show should be next in line for a title shot... Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted April 30, 2003 I'll take this with a grain-of-salt. I'll believe the 'who, what, where, why" that is provided in internet reporting (if the source is credible), but the "this is what Vince McMahon is thinking and his relationship with family members and what kind of underwear he has on" type stuff I try not to look at. I still don't get why ppl think Shane is the saviour of the company.
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 I still don't get why ppl think Shane is the saviour of the company. He's not the one taking it in the ass from HHH Of course Shane in control means Test push, but who knows Andrew was motivated once, maybe he can be again. Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Plus I think most people are always gonna like Shane. Also since Nov 2001 I think he's the McMahon with the least ammount of screen time, I think Linda's been on more than Shane.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Shane just takes it up the ass from Xpac. Shanes bias' suck just as much as Stephs and Vince.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted April 30, 2003 A coup d'etat? How in the hell does Vince think his kids could just seize control? He think they have a hitman after him? Well, there is a hitman who would like to take Vince out, but he's in no condition to do anything about it... At least Test had a good match with him and Blackman was hella fun to watch, but I wouldn't trust either of the the McMahon children to not screw up the company. Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 I could be buddies with Shane, Steph's the type of girl who'd ignore me in school Advantage Shane
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Well Vince does have a right to be paranoid. He did the same thing to his father.
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Shane having control would probably be just as bad as Vince or Steph. Isn't Shane a big Test supporter? At this point, the ONLY way the WWE is going to improve is to limit the McMahon power ego trip, and since all four of them are in charge, it AINT happening anytime soon. Guest papacita Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Not to get off topic, but did they ever explain why Shane came down to the ring at WM?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 30, 2003 I am a strong believer that a McMahon MUST be in power of the company (I am a Sickler for Family Run Businesses) However, Vince needs to elimiate all these yes men like Patterson, Brisco, Hebner, Dunn and ross whom been in town for Years and aren't motivated to renigite The company... If Shane Took over...You would expect an Updated "Cool" type of mentality with alot of Flashy Gimmicks and Hardcore Matches... If Stephanie Takes over...Well it'll just be more of what we got now...Badly Acted Soap Opera. If Linda Took Over...Actully Keep her as the "BUSINESS" person regardless. Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Not to get off topic, but did they ever explain why Shane came down to the ring at WM? Nope... I have a Feeling Shane is going to make Sproadic Apperences just for the hell of it... He IS a McMahon...Gotta have Air Time...
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 i'll always have a soft spot for shane because of his matches. For a non-worker, he's put on a fair few memorable matces.

I have a Feeling Shane is going to make Sproadic Apperences just for the hell of it... He IS a McMahon...Gotta have Air Time... Well if you saw the pre-match video, Shane was helping to train his dad for the match...so obviously he'd be worried about his father. And as far as this goes, if it's true then who cares? The McMahons are just another family, who will have rows sometimes. Big deal. I wouldn't be signing Vince's goodbye cards any time soon. Saying that, I think Shane'd be more in touch with the target audience than Vince or Steph. Plus he can work a spot match, and an entertaining one at that. Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 vince takin his fustrations out on shane.... uhmm for what? shane hasnt done that much for the company recently.. quite frankly stephanie deserves more blame but god forbid she get yelled at.....Id take shane as an owner over any mcmahon anyday... sure we might have to endure a test push but hey there is worst things in life.. id take beniot as champ at any ppv on the SD side..Plus Shane is far more entertaining on screen than vince/steph right now... and the spots he pulls are amazing.. i don't think hhh would get away with as much shit if shane was in charge which is another reason shane should be in charge... Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 30, 2003 What exactly is the relationship between Shane and Trips? Are they Friends? Buddies? Mutal Partners? Wondering because of the whole Brother-In-Law factor...You'd presume even with Shane as the head of Company...Trips would still be fine since his Brother In Law was the CEO or whatever... Is A Test Push really that Bad? We've endured Nash and Worse...Test can on occasions be inavertly humorous...Ala Nash...
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted April 30, 2003 This 'report' is utterly stupid. Anyone who can read a financial report would know that Vince and Linda own 80% of the WWE stock and have 97% voting control. Also, they both own Stephanie and Shane's shares of the company in trust. Vince may be under some sort of pressure from the Board and others to relinquish control of the company over to the kids but Vince and Linda own the company and thus make all the final decisions. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Shane having control would probably be just as bad as Vince or Steph. Isn't Shane a big Test supporter? Yes, but Test and these guys Shane likes are athletic at least. They are simply black holes of heat. Test is more mobile than Nash The Main Eventer.
