The Game blasts The Franchise

Shane did not have flashing intros but he made up for it with the sweet Triple Threat hand sign. Its the one thing that Shane has over HHH..........Shane had a better IV Horsemen team and better symblism.

III in a superman symbol is better than the Iron Cross.

That is why it is so ridiculous that a heel has a "grand entrance" like that.

Amen to that.

Sgt. Slaughter's drum roll = greatest heel entrance ever.

Austin could get away with the huge entrance (and even his wasn't so big) Rocky could get away with it, Hogan and Flair could get away with it because people cheereed them no matter what. HHH will never reach that level and it probably bugs the shit out of him

If Trips dropped some weight, got better mobility, didn't bury every opponent, and compete against guys with actual talent - he'd have a really cool old school thing going. His 2000 run was good because he had all of that going for him.

God, there was so much Triple H-love in the first page of this thread, I had to make sure I was at the right forum. LOL

Triple H is a bitter, pathetic, washed-up piece of garbage who needs to shut his mouth and retire.

Shane Douglas used to be bitter, but I think he's moved on now. He was always a favorite of mine in ECW. I think politics and bad choices are all that kept Shane from being a main eventer in WWF or WCW.

HHH/Douglas reminds me of the Cornette/Heyman relationship.

The don't like each other because they're so much alike. Basically, Douglas is a smaller-scale version of HHH. But I should note that I like Cornette a bit more than Dangerously (Not paying wrestlers ain't cool) although I respect them both.

The one big difference between the two though is, Triple H got his oppurtunity, and Shane Douglas had the carpet pulled out from under him on a few occasions. We have seen what Triple H(and others) have done with the power they have. Maybe Shane Douglas would act the same exact way, maybe not, but we will never know because he never got that big push besides in ECW.

Shane Douglas was, in my book, pretty good from '95-'97. Don't know why, but i liked him. His whole "Ric Flair Lite" role in ECW was done to perfection, save the bitching about everything that no one really cared about. Honestly, the only really good matches i've seen of the man have been in tag team affairs. His WCW run with Steamer(which was good) & the match with Cactus Jack against Sandman & Funk come to mind. But other than that, i don't care about him outside of mic work or commentating.

HHH was awesome. i loved his stuff up until his return, but his peak was '99-'01 when the quad thing happened. He DID work his ass off to the point where fucking the owner's (at the time) lovely daughter was a viable option. Then, well we've all kept up on his polital shit.

Both guys WERE redeeming at one point, but fuck, who cares anymore about either of them? I'd give the edge to HHH when it comes to being a better worker, because Douglas was just average & never motivated. HHH is known now for his lack of ability. HHH is in no position to comment on Douglas though, because that's just 1)stupid in any sense in mentioning 2)The Clique hate Douglas & 3)HHH saying anything about anyone is to be taken with a grain of anthrax. I just don't like either of them now, pretty much. Fuck the Franchise name & all who bear it....that being said i'd SO mark if Shane showed up on RAW sometime.

::returns from going to the website, wiping tears of laughter from his eyes::

This is all supposed to be a shoot, right? That webpage was more entertaining than any promos Shane has cut in the last three years.

And Ric was being Ric without the Whoo....

Priceless.
