I've really lost hope on Mysterio after Taker and Show treated him. :(

If Halloween Havoc 97 vs Eddy isn't on that then it's not worth it. It's not only one of WCW's best matches of all time but probably Rey's best too.

Yes, the Havoc match with Eddie better be on there.

There are 10 matches, only 4 are listed so expect all your favorites to be there!

It's WWE's call though...

SO I expect to see his epics with Albert and Big Show to be listed.

I hope the Rey vs Malenko match has the Super Gut Buster spot! Too bad Prof Mike Tenay is not employed by WWE, his insight interviews on the luchadores were helpful in understanding this "new" style.

*puts money down on Nash throwing him into the production trailer on Nitro being on there*

Nitro match involves Rey missing a asai moonsault and landing face first on the floor.

I dont remember much about Havoc 96 but the finish being a powerbomb from the top.

I remember Malenko using a military press or fireman carry to gut buster move on a regular basis in his matches vs Rey.

All I'm gonna say is that this Rey DVD BETTER KICK ASS, cause it'll be so easy for it to do so.

I guess it wouldn't be safe to add any clips with the "horned" Rey.

I'd like to forget that period.

The best Rey match I've ever seen is the Guerrero match at Havoc 1997. Most of his great stuff in WCW was in 1996 though, before he started suffering knee problems. I wouldn't mind it if they put on the match against Super Calo from Fall Brawl 1996. It isn't his best by a long shot, but its pretty unique how they use the two rings.

2 rings? with Super Calo?

I don't remember this...what was it about?

WCW CW Championship at Fall Brawl 96 was between Misterio & Super Calo. Because of the War Games main event the arena was set up with dual rings next to each other. Rey in particular uses this to his advantage.

The rings were there for the Wargames Main Event and didn't really have anything to do with Rey and Calo. But when you've got two rings side by side like that, just about any worker worth their salt is going to try some different things with them.

Oooooh ok.

Man I have to check that match out then.

Try to get a copy of the show if you can. I consider it the best PPV of 1996.

WARGAMES: Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Sting vs. Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger & Mystery Partner (Sting)

Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho

DDP vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Super Calo

Mexican Championship: Konnan vs. Juventud Guerrera

Randy Savage vs. The Giant

Tag Team Titles: Harlem Heat vs. Nasty Boys

Submissions Match: Ice Train vs. Scott Norton

so what be the other extras? i'd think Rey/Psychosis from BATB would have to be there.

Better than Survivor Series 96?

Speaking for myself (likely for him too, but we might want to get confirmation for that since it's not specifically spoken yet), I think he meant WCW's best of 1996.
