Observer notes on Jeff Hardy

Recommended Posts

Guest teke184

According to this week's Wrestling Observer, Jeff Hardy was released from the WWE because he had failed two drug tests and refused to go in for treatment. His suspensions from house shows were actually a punishment for failing his first test, which is contrary to the public story that they were giving him time off because he'd requested it. No specific drug was specified in the article.

Clarification upon re-reading the story- Jeff's SECOND house show suspension was an indefinite suspension from all house shows as punishment for failing drug tests. There was no mention of the first time he was taken off the house show circuit after all.

Thoughts- It's always nice to get confirmation of something you're 99% sure on... even casual fans could tell there was something wrong with Jeff in the ring and it was only a matter of time before he killed himself or someone else. While his problems are troubling, at least he's acknowledged that he is incapable of wrestling for TNA right now due to his condition. That is at least better than Scott Hall, who had notorious problems but would continue to work until suspended rather than trying to solve them before returning to work.

You know, I was kinda piting Hardy.

Now that it is true that he was doing drugs, then I really don't feel sorry or anything for him.

At least he knows that he needs help.

Does the Observer say anything about his release terms? Would he be allowed to go to TNA any time soon if he wants to?

Meltz said that the WWE feels that the nature of his release forbids him from joining TNA before his contract would have expired, although he feels they wouldn't put the necessary effort into stopping him if he wants to go.

If Jeff needed an injection of anything it was Mattitude.

Going to TNA should be the furthest thing from his mind at this point.

WWE do drugs tests? With HHH around? Que?

Probably for crack and heroine.

But yeah, now that I think about it, since when does the WWE do drug tests?

Yes. Why do you think they keep guys like 3MW and Spike Dudley around?

Yes, HHH probably has Spike Dudley as his pee cup bitch.

Did Hurricane jump brands so he could substitute for Steiner or something?

I'll prolly catch board heat for saying it, but if he's clean and healthy, I think Jeff has a ton of potential as a wrestler. Damn WWE 'Style' has locked him into predictable spotfest matches and he's gotten lost in the brand split shuffle.

Get cleaned up, Jeff. I want to see you out there again when you're ready.

According to Meltzer, the WWE only does testing when they feel it's necessary. Apparently they see nothing wrong with BPP's freakishly long arms or the 150 pounds of muscle that Trips has put on since late 1995.

So what was he on?

I'm guessing a potent mix of pot, PCP, cystal meth and ectasy.

I doubt Jeff was doing ecstasy. I've hung around with a lot of people while they're on and off ecstasy, and Jeff's persona just didn't seem to fit most of their's.

Remember when a few people were screaming about Keith making jokes about Hardy's drug use when they weren't yet proven. Well, there's the proof.

Next up: Pictures of Hardy and Bradshaw going at it to prove that Hardy is gay too.

It shouldn't matter if he's gay or not, because that's not a problem. All it will do is justify our smark-like-supremeness.

Remember...

Puro Legend Tatsumi Fujinami says "Being gay is A-OK"

Good one, Tatsumi.

Actully...I wouldn't be too alarmed about HHH because he LOOKS normal compared to Hardy and Steiner...

Hell, Steiner looks like he SCALED back as of late...

You can't really blame the guy for doing drugs after all the sick bumps he's taken.

Just watch me

I'm with AS, Jeff Hardy should get some real wrestling training and work the mat-based stuff.

Constant highspots are for ECW mutants and former XPW employees.

Now, wouldn't that just stun his fans.

You know if he wrestled on the mat and all, he'd probably be a heel. ;)

In order for Hardy to stun his fans he'd have to do more than mat-wrestle.

For starters, he'd need to actually, you know, get fans.

Well, Jeff Hardy's a crackhead and got caught. I dont agree with the argument that it was understandable to take drugs cause he was in pain. Every one of these guys bust there asses every night and are in constant pain, its not just Jeff. As far as HHH and Steiner.....there are legal enhancers out there, like the one that Mark McGwire was taking some years ago which caused a big controversy
