IC Title rumored to come back

Well, it's time to do my job..dashing everyone's hopes.

 

The IC title coming back isn't going to change things. At all. What was the titleholder doing before it got asorbed by the ego of one HHH? Nada. Not to mention it AND the Euro belt dissapeared around Regal's waist for months at a time.

 

You know the WWE. They'll just give it to a guy like Test (who'll be the next Triple H. They'll push him until he gets over.) or Steiner, or one of the 3MW goons. There are guys who legitimately need the belt, and would benefit from having a title..

 

..but that requires good booking (Steph? Yeah, right), good writing (Whoever the top goon next to Steph is. The Gershit guy.), and good commentary to make the winner seem like a legitimate threat and rising star (Not with Good Ol' Jim "Bah Gawd" Ross at the booth).

 

*snickers* It's not even worth getting excited about it.

 

Hell, here's a thought. Since Bradshaw was playing Austin's buddy before his injury, he'll probably get it..

Speaking of which...Booker T was the U.S champion at WCW's end...How did it get bumped around in WWE? I recall Angle holding that Title...but How did it Unify with the U.S title?

I may be mistaken, but I think Angle lost it to Rhyno, who lost it to Edge. Edge then unified the U.S. title with the IC title by beating Test (who held the IC belt at that time).

I thought it was Kanyon who was the U.S Champion and had lost it to Edge...

No Test lost to Edge at SurSer before the rumble so he jumped Scotty 2 Hotty and took his spot.

Here is how I think the U.S Title was passed around during the invasion.

Booker T awarded the title to Kanyon for his great efforts.

Kanyon lost it down the road to Tajiri.

Tajiri lost it to Rhyno.

Rhyno lost it to Kurt Angle

Angle joined the coalition and lost the title to Edge.

Edge unified the U.S Title with the Intercontinental Title against Test.

 

Test punked out Scotty 2 Hotty to be in the immunity battle royal.

Maybe have someone beat Trips in a non-title singles match and bring out the belt.  Not for the WORLD title, but he claims the IC part of it.

PERFECT! How HHH can job without losing the title because he could just go...

 

"Hey! Maven, You won the match but you didn't win the world title...You won the erm...WCW U.S TITLE! Congrats!"

Wow...they could job Triple H....let's see...IC, Hardcore, European, US....4 Times, and Triple H would still be World Champion. (And that belt would be nothing. Nothing.)
