Guest raptor Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Did Madrox die as a result of Fatal Attractions? All I remember is that he died with Haven... Oh, and Jean needs to come back just because Famke Janssen is really, really good in the role.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Technically speaking, he was sick before FA started, but Haven's powers pretty much killed him. And now that I think about it, X-Factor's Fatal Attractions part actually had more to do with the group finding out about Val's association with a new Sentinel program and how they never really trusted her again after that. Mrnoitaull 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2003 This is off subject but, Isn't Iceman Jean Grey's brother ??!!
Guest Grand Slam Report post Posted May 12, 2003 No, Iceman isn't Jean Grey's brother unless I missed something pretty major somewhere along the line. As far as the next movie, I think its pretty clear that it will involve the Pheonix force. But I am guessing it will reflect that comic story about as much as X2 reflected "God Loves, Man Kills". Which is a good thing. What should they do? Well, the Sentinels are a great idea, and would be perfect following up the events in this movie. I think if they do it right, there could be a nice "Days of Futures Past" thing happening. I think Apocalypse and that ilk are a little too comic-booky for the "more real" worl that the X-Men inhabit in the movies.

Actually I think that Madrox is alive and working as a part of X-Corporation aka the place where unused X-characters go just so you know that they're alive. Madrox has been killed more times than Harry Kim on Voyager, I think, but each time they've been a dupe, not the "real" Jamie Madrox. Speaking of dying it looks like Chuck Austen has killed another Generation X member, and they may actually stay that way, unlike Husk...
Guest Grand Slam Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Oh come on... mobody dies in the X-Men Universe, they just disappear for a while until they can make a dramatic comeback and save the day / attempt to destroy the world. How many times has Magneto been "dead"?

How many times has Magneto been "dead"? True, but they kinda made a point of having a bunch of mutants die and come back to life in this issue (the 25 cent one) while some didn't, so I'd guess that dead, in this case, means dead like Synch. I had completely forgotten about the dupe being the one affected by the Legacy Virus.
Guest Vyce Report post Posted May 13, 2003 If they did Sentinels it should be Bastion's Prime Sentinels. They're less goofy, and given the right actor Bastion could be really fun on the big screen. Ed Harris. I always thought Ed Harris would be a pretty solid Bastion.

I was thinking John Malkovich, but he might be too big a name for them to use.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 14, 2003 I thought only one of Mandrox's clonewas the one that truly died from the Legacy Virus and as long as He didn't reassemble he didn't get the virus.
Guest starvenger Report post Posted May 14, 2003 I thought only one of Mandrox's clonewas the one that truly died from the Legacy Virus and as long as He didn't reassemble he didn't get the virus. Something like that. Although since his dupe is an exact duplicate of himself I have no idea how the original Madrox didn't get the virus unless he was in an hermetically sealed suit. But then again, it's comics, so I'm not really losing sleep over it...

So my thinking is he kept the dupe as far from his as possible.

Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted May 15, 2003 I think the reason why the real Maddox didn't contract the virus is because he never absorbed the dupe that was infected with it for some reason.
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted May 31, 2003 Ian McKinian ripping the Adamatium out of Hugh Jackman hah that would be so gory. That ain't happening. Rated R movies decreases sells. Tell that to Matrix: Reloaded
