Guest Kingpk Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 I thought the first Batman was pretty dull and I fell asleep during it. I also thought Antz sucked pretty hard.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 I didn't get to see Batman all the way through. I went to see it with my dad and brother and my little brother (about 3 or 4) just started crying 20 minutes in and we had to leave.
Guest RepoMan Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Dames At least it had an audience unlike Pooty Tang which never had more than 5 people at a time. By far the worst Chris Rock movie ever made. I sat through "Pootie Tang" as well. Pootie Tang OWNS YOU~! Of course, as much as I enjoyed Pootie Tang... did you think I would pay ? I as well saw Poot Tang, the worst dollar ever spent by anyone anywhere
Guest Cavi Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Big Momma's House. My friend and I were thinking of leaving, but we decided to hold out and see it to the end. What a horrible movie.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 I thought the first Batman was pretty dull and I fell asleep during it. How can you slam the first Batman? It's by far the best in the series...
Guest notJames Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Man, you guys will watch anything. They call it "discretionary" income for a reason.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 I usually avoid the usual blockbuster pablum and hokey Hollywood crap, so I've been blessed with not having seen too many bad movies in the theaters. Relatively speaking, I'd have to say either Alien Resurrection or I.Q., both recommended by or watched with people I no longer associate with. IQ!? As in the movie about Einstein trying to help his nephew get a woman? I loved that movie! It was hilarious. Worst movies I've seen in theatres. House of a 1000 Corpses and Master of Disguise.
Guest HellSpawn Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Halloween H20 Well, actually I didnt pay, It was a promotion, ugh, that movie sucks. Now, a movie I actually paid... Hannibal. OMG, what a bunch of crap.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Probably the 1998 remake of Psycho. Just god-awful.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Several, though I've never paid for them, just 'bad timing'. Rollerball/The Animal. Stupid family. Corky Romano. My ex. That's all I'll say.
Guest Kingpk Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 I thought the first Batman was pretty dull and I fell asleep during it. How can you slam the first Batman? It's by far the best in the series... Well I was 7 at the time.....I think. It came out in 1989 right? I never really was into the whole Batman thing anyway. I've seen it since and think it's a good movie.
Guest Hitman Jebus Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 without even reading the initial post by YNA I thought: MAN OF THE HOUSE! But I didn't pay for that one either (it was my birthday party) Anyway, other films that come to mind as a waste of time and money were: -Scream 3 -The Haunting -Batman and Robin -The Flintstones -Jeepers Creepers -Night at The Roxbury -Spy Hard (This is where Leslie Nielsen "jumped the shark" IMO, since then his parodies have sucked ass!) -Ace Ventura 2 edit: God! How could I forget "I still know what you did last Summer"
Guest What? Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 The Thin Red Line As soon as I saw John Travolta show up for five minutes, then see his name on the movie poster, I realized just how shitty that movie was. Plus, the "What is War?" shit at the beginning...GET TO THE POINT OF THE MOVIE, COCKSUCKERS!!
Guest Kingpk Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Although it's not an awful movie, my experience during Saving Private Ryan was soured by the guy next to me puking during the opening sequence. This idiot had like a large popcorn and Milk Duds, during a war movie that many said was really graphic. The theater was pretty crowded but I thankfully found another seat.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 I would have to say Bedazzled. Terrible, terrible movie. To think, I could have gotten out of seeing it when the fire alarms were going off in the mall, but I hung tight, unfortunately. (dis)honourable mention: Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead. At least the sound went out for 5 minutes in this movie, so I was able to get some free movie passes. I am shocked no one has mentioned Battlefield Earth. I saw that one in theatres, and didn't think it was that bad. My friends, and everyone else in the theatre, for that matter, were all disgusted for wasting their money and calling it "the worst movie ever." I thought it was decent enough. Then again, maybe I have just seen a lot of bad movies.
Guest Lil Naitch Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 (edited) Worst movie I've seen? Kingpin Worst movie I've paid for? Batman and Robin I also remember I went to see smoe random movie, and while I was taking a restroom break, my friend and I heard some guy demand his money back for "Patriot Games" Edited May 6, 2003 by FoleyDDP

Then again, maybe I have just seen a lot of bad movies. I actually forgot that I saw that in theaters. It was opening weekend, and I saw it with a friend during the day in a theater with about 12 other people in it. w/ the big stereo surround sound, which was so fucking loud. Of course, it was enjoyable because me and my friend MST'd the movie.
Guest Lil Naitch Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 The Thin Red Line As soon as I saw John Travolta show up for five minutes, then see his name on the movie poster, I realized just how shitty that movie was. Plus, the "What is War?" shit at the beginning...GET TO THE POINT OF THE MOVIE, COCKSUCKERS!! I'm posting like a bitch, ain't I? They called that movie the sleeper hit of the year. Because everybody slept through it. Oh, and add Rollerball to the list. WTF were they thinking doing an ENTIRE FUCKING SCENE in NIGHTVISION?!
Guest Razor Roman Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Gone Fishing... with Danny Glover & Joe Pesci. I worked at the theater so it was free, so whatever. And, in spite of the fact that I'm a Disney dweeb, I almost walked out on Atlantis just out of boredom. Until I remember that the reason I went to the movie was because it was like 115 degrees out and my parents were being too cheap to turn on the air conditioner.
Guest mach7 Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 By far, the worst movie that I ever actually paid to see (for some reason) was 'Murder by Numbers.' I don't know if it was the horrible acting (on everyone's part), the awful "storytelling" or the fact that you could predict what was going to happen 15 minutes before it happened... I never found myself urging to just yell out, "Get on with it for Christ's sake!!" in the middle of the theatre until I saw this movie. In fact, I actually did yell it out. When Sandra "Acting Classes, what are those?" Bullock was telling the story of her life to her fling. Thankfully, the others in the theatre felt my pain and agreed. Murder by Numbers. Worst movie I've ever paid to see.
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 The Pledge with Jack Nicholson... I love him, so this one really disappointed me. It was a dark movie.. I didn't know it was going to be about a pedophile who kills small blonde girls! UGH! I didn't even finish the movie.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Ok, Kingpin and the first Batman rule. That is all. I would talk about other bad movies, but I'm serious, I've never seen anything that matched the steaming pile of shit that was Bless The Child.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Mission Impossible is the only movie I've ever walked out on. Too slow, too boring, and too many people mumbling and talking too goddamn quiet. I saw it later on video and wished I hadn't. I didn't count that one since I didn't finish it there.
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 LOL, I liked MI:2, but that's just because of Tom Cruise! he he he
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Steel was the worst movie ever starring Shaq. Rushmore was pretty bad as well.
Guest kingkamala Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Steel was the worst movie ever starring Shaq. Nah man it was Kazam, I saw Steel when it first came out on video and I thought it was a fun little action movie than again I was only 8 or 9 when I saw it and I haven't seen it since.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 I think you're almost alone in your Rushmore hate. I know a lot of people who like that one. "I like your nurses uniform, guy" "These are O.R. scrubs." "Oh are they?" Classic
