LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 They always make a huge deal out of how loyal UT is. Who wouldn't be loyal when you're a hoss!? More accurately, who wouldn't be loyal when they wouldn't be allowed to bring their character to another fed at a time when said fed was signing a bunch of guys from the WWF. I agree......I think a lot of the reason Taker didn't leave was because he was made famous as The Undertaker, not "Mean" Mark Callous or The Punisher. If he went back to WCW he would have been a regular generic guy with bad mic skills, and would have gotten lost in the Backstage shuffle.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 UT never loses because he's over and a legend Ok, the word NEVER is a word I never use...yes, that was deliberate. But never...as in he never lost to Lesnar at Judgement Day. He never lost to Cena. He never got thrown out in the Royal Rumble...he never lost any Royal Rumble he's ever been in. Never is a very overused word. Farting around with a jobber who was put away by the cruiserweight champ a few weeks ago quicker than Funaki. Kendrick is one HELL of a talented jobber then. Cena is not 'farting around' with him...he may be putting him over, or he may be being put against him to get a win under his belt. Oh, and I notice you didn't say 'Matt Hardy' put him away. Because he's Matt Hardy, and he's not a hoss. AS, give us something else cause I won't see the brawl of boredom until Friday...
Guest mach7 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 And you know who you are. You like to put a positive spin on everything the WWF does and sometimes down right refuse to admit that they made a huge mistake. This leads to a lot of bitching, sometimes all over the board. So, why not confine it to one thread? Here's how it would work. After an enormous fck up by the WWF, someone would ask for the apologists opinion on it. And they could explain why this was a good thing and how were all to negative. First on the list, Raw. Namely, the boring 15 minute brawl. Please, oh please, tell me how that was good. Geez, they may be apologists, but at least they're not constantly crying, pissing and moaning about something EVERY TIME THEY POST...
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted May 8, 2003 AS and the rest of us that hate the WWE have every reason in the world to whine, bitch and cry. After all, they started it.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted May 8, 2003 And once again, I ask how insulting "WWE apologists" is any better than that moron Danndogg telling WWE haters to know their roles and shut their mouths.
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted May 8, 2003 Because that DanDogg guy was just your random, run of the mill jackass who was frontin' like he was an average WWE fan to get a rise out of the WWE-haters. He also brought up ZERO valid points. The WWE-haters can bring up a number of valid points at the drop of a hat as to why the company deserves to wither and die. King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 No offense, but being a WWE hater you would say that. Either way, there's decent points either way IMO...on most things
Guest BobbyWhioux Report post Posted May 8, 2003 Upside to the Nash / HHH brawl, #1: The longer they are in the ring moving around, the more likely they will either A) [further] expose their physical ineptitude and hence get booed out of the ring by rebellious fans or B) Both tear their quads up again. Yes, I know it's sick and wrong to wish injuries on people that deprive them of their ability to go to do their job and "provide for their family" (...although if Nash and HHH are STILL living paycheck to paycheck at this point in their lucrative careers, they are financial retards with no one to blame for that scenario but themselves...) but every revolution has its casualties. It seems Bret Hart had to be screwed in Montreal to help usher in "Attitude" and maybe something comparably unfair and tragic has to happen to Nash, HHH, and some others. By the way, the "Mad World" song people are talking about: is that by any chance a Tears for Fears song with lyrics that go "I think it's kinda [funny?] / I think it's kinda sad / the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had" ? Or am I thinking of something else?
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted May 8, 2003 That's the song, though most people are more familiar with the Gary Jules version.

Oh, and I notice you didn't say 'Matt Hardy' put him away. Because he's Matt Hardy, and he's not a hoss. -He's a talented jobber. Whoopdee fuck. There's been many talented jobbers over the years. Brad Armstrong had talent but a feud with him never did anyone any favors, did it? -Regardless of whether Cena wins or loses, that cup of tea in the title picture did nothing for him. -I didn't mention his name because it didn't occur to me. Not because of this 'hoss' shiite. And once again, I ask how insulting "WWE apologists" is any better than that moron Danndogg telling WWE haters to know their roles and shut their mouths. Because WWE apologists can't argue anything further from the "just sit and be entertained" argument - just like a parent telling their four year old to sit down and be quiet.
