Guest Doyo Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 see here He's got 3 up with current bids around $700, $500 and $400. Part of the description says "***PLEASE*** DO NOT USE THIS EMAIL ADDRESS FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN QUESTIONS DIRECTLY RELATED TO THIS DRAWING." In other words, leave me alone stalker chicks!
Guest Ram Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 That's almost as sad as Buff Bagwell's $5 phone call.
Guest T®ITEC Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 I liked the drawing of the tree better, 'specially after Jeff said that the strangest place he ever had sex in was a tree. Ah, good times. Good times.
Guest buffybeast Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 I'm not spending 700 bucks for a Jeff Hardy original. Maybe 50 bucks.
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 I'm not spending 700 bucks for a Jeff Hardy original. Maybe 50 bucks. That's only if Jeffrey comes with it as my butler for a month.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 I brought this up about 2 weeks ago in the original Jeff Hardy is fired thread. That auction was up to $400.
Guest Reservoir_Kitty Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 I saw those earlier... they're nice looking, but certainly not worth what they're going for. Someone must have an overinflated ego... Or, money's getting tight. I'd consider paying that much if Jeff hand-delivered it and waited on me for a few days. Even then, it's iffy. He's a little.. weird.
Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Someone must have an overinflated ego... Or someone knows that he has a rabid, stalker-girl fanbase who will in fact shell out such money for a few mere doodlings. I think this is a genius move on his part, actually.
Guest Human Fly Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 The big red X in all of the pictures is what cracks me up the most. Like someone is going to run out and counterfeit these "masterpieces".
Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 I'm actually surprised at the quality of the work. From the way he's been acting lately, I would expect him to just toss some paint on a canvas ala Jackson Pollock and name the pictures things like "The Unbearable Greatness of Imagi Becoming One With The Starlit Turnbuckle Gods" or something. Not high art, but not bad either, Jeff.
Guest Mole Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Wow, now he can buy his pain killers with art money.
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 I think they look pretty decent. He wants to be creative, or whatever, good for him. Let him be.
Agent_Bond34 Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Must be those female teenage fans that will "buy everything" of Jeff Hardy. If they're using a credit card to pay for those, I wouldn't want to be the one paying the bill.
Guest sean pyro Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 "High bidder: jeffhardynuts" Wow, that's like a triple whammy.
Guest mickberna Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 If he wasn't Jeff Hardy: WWF Superstar, he'd just be some guy named Jeff Hardy at one of those starving artist shows. JEFF: "This drawing represents sadness, pain, and at the same time, the healing positive energy of Imagi-nation." CUSTOMER: "I'll give you 10 bucks for it." JEFF: "You got yourself a deal!"
Guest geniusMoment Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 How long before Mr. Hardy loses an ear?
The Dames Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Location: Imagi Nation... I'd love to see someone takes shrooms and go there to put the drawing up. Dames
Guest mach7 Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Man, that's the shittiest excuse for "art" I've seen in a long time.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 That's actually a great idea on his part. These 3 drawings will go well over $1000. How many indy bookings would he have to take to make that? Plus no traveling, schedules, etc...Just taking stuff around the house and selling them.
Yuna_Firerose Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 The big red X in all of the pictures is what cracks me up the most. Like someone is going to run out and counterfeit these "masterpieces". I doubt anyone would, but I know the red X stops any ideas of Iconage~! I think they look pretty decent. He wants to be creative, or whatever, good for him. Let him be. *completely agrees* Man, that's the shittiest excuse for "art" I've seen in a long time. To each his own, sez I.
