Guest midnight_burn Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete -> Atlas rules, and LDP may be a tad rusty, so i'll go with Atlas to gain some momentum heading into his US Title match with Craven. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel -> W & D are the established team, and will be eager for another shot at Justice and Rule's belts. Beezel and MVS are plenty talented though, and could take this, but i'll stick with Wildchild and Johnny to get back into the winners list, though it'll surely be a close one. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg -> Hardcore mayhem, should be deliciously brutal. Janus is the 2-time champ, Dace can bust out the gore like nobody's business, and the hardcore maniac has more than proved his talent in the hardcore arena. I'll go with JD to win, though who walks out with the belt depends on whether Jay Dawg wants to win the Hardcore belt while he's involved in the upper card at the moment. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT -> Judge is on a hell of a roll, and TNT, though not in the greatest of form can bust out the greatness when he wants to. This should be a dandy of a match, but methinks TNT can get back into form with a win over M7 member Judge. If Judge's tag form carries over to singles though it'll be no easy feat. LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle -> Strangler gets another tough outing, TBS and Neilsen in a Last man Standing match should be all sorts of great. Both men are fantastic writers, but coming off a loss to Danny i'll go with Neilsen to kick ass like only he can and pick up the win, getting back in the winners list. SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki -> Frost is party, and Ejiro is rule, so this should be damn good. It should be close as heck, but Frost is as good as anyone in the SWF, and i'll go with him to pick up the big win and continue on the hunt for another world title shot. Ejiro's more than capable of taking this though. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams -> Fucking awesome, this shall be. God only knows who'll win this, but whatever happens it'll be fantastic for sure. Both men seemingly never lose, and are writing at God-like levels, so i'll just flip a coin to see who wins. Coin flip sez... Danny Willaims is your new SWF World Champ. And that's a wrap.
Guest Ace309 Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete - Well, Pete's rusty, and Atlas is my Pillman, so I have to support him. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel - ... interesting. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg - Jay Dawg can win this if he wants, but I doubt he does. I'll go with the High Priest of Horrorcore in a match involving severed tendons used to choke people. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT - MENTAL~! LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle - Strangler needs this win, but Nielsen may well take it from him. SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki - Frost. (Y) MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams - No prediction, as always.
Guest Ash Ketchum Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete -Atlas just got a shot at my title, but Pete's still a legitimate threat. I'll go with the Dogger in the third-closest match of the night. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel -Wild and Dangerous have a history. MVS and Beezel have a tag victory over me and Janus. Gotta go with the more experienced team here. Wild and Dangerous sneak off with one. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg -Dace surprises everyone for the win here. He reminds me of myself back in the Hardcore days... except gorier. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT -A Justice and Rule member battles a member of CCBB? Is there a reunion on the horizon for TNT and Frost? That'd rawk. Anyways, close match, with Judge cheating... I mean, finding a loophole in the rules to win. LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle -Holy old school, Batman!!! This match is nearly impossible to predict... but there will be ABSOLUTE carnage. SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki -Sorry, Ejiro, but the odds aren't in your favor. Frost takes this one. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams -OH MY GODZ!!! This is like throwing away Goldberg/Hogan for the title on Nitro!!! I cannot predict this match because it's WAY too close, but it will be even MORE insane than the Strangler/Neislen match.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete - Atlas. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel - Wild and Dangerous HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg - Jay Dawg to write, with Janus to win SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT - Judge with help from Ejiro LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle - Co-Write to a No Contest? SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki - Frost due to backfiring help from J and a little help from TNT. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams - Tom. Tom ALWAYS Wins.
Guest TheBostonStrangler Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete Oooh....this is a pretty damn good opener. I guess I'll take Atlas, purely because of LDP's ring rust. Should be interesting to see where LDP ends up on the card. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel I'll take the established tag team here. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg Janus and Dace and JD...oh my. Great matchup. I'll take Jay Dawg to win. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT TNT will EXPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOODE LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle I dunno who's gonna win, but SOMEONE is gonna cry like a little girl....probably me. SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki Hmmm.....Frosty to win this one MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams Now this one is interesting. I guess I'll take Tom to win it, but Danny's more than capable of winning this match.
Guest Dace59 Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete Atlas, sorry Pete. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel W&D HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg Janus SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT Judge LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle TBS! SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki Ejiro MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams *BOOM! BOOM!* DAN-E!
Guest Coffin Surfer Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete -I don't see Pete losing this, but you never know. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel -Wild and Dangerous I think have teamed together before, so they got an edge. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg -Hopefully Dace. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT -TNT, but Mental could pull off the upset. LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle -Neilsen. SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki -Frost. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams -The biggest problem is there are so many different ways to work the match, I have no idea where to begin. I've done started over twice.
Atlas Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete - Hmm? TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel - Bee Van Siezel. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg - Had to be Jay Dawg here. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT - Ohh, tough call. I'll go with Judge here, to balance things out. LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle - Strangler may have some ring rust left to lose, and Neilsen loves these matches. I'll go with him. SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki - Balancing things out, Ejiro gets a loss here. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams - Gotta go with Tom in this one. He's gone through plenty of challengers, and for one reason or another, I don't think this is the one that'll stop him.
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete - Atlas, as I'm unsure Pete will be able to knock the rust off. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel - Oh, def me and the Beez. SNS for life. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg - Hm.. this is a tough one, but I'll go with Janus. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT - Bit of an odd matchup... I'd have to say Judge. LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle - Both need to rebound, but only one can get it... and I'm thinking that that is Neilsen. SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki - I marka for La Fasaka. Therefore, Ejiro to win. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams - As Atlas pointed out, Tom wouldn't still be holding the belt after having faced Frost and TNT if he didn't possess immense skill. That said, Danny's apparently riding a hot streak, and in my mind, if someone's going to dethrone Tom before Neilsen does, it's going to be right here. The big question is will Danny.. and the answer to that is much tougher, but I have to go with Tom to retain.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete -This might be a really cool match. Atlas is the wunderkind, but LDP is the grizzled vet who will surprise you the second you count him out. A gut feeling says Pete by a hair due to the experience. WINNER: LDP TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel -Chemistry is going to decide this one and with the few permanent teams we have, they need all the wins and build they can get. WINNER: WILD AND DANGEROUS HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg -Wild match up. Nobody write hardcore like Jay Dawg, nobody. And the huge experience gap he has on the noobs will help him get the win even more. As I know first hand from when I first came in, JD has tricks up his sleeve you could never come up with on your best day without experience under your belt. WINNER: JD SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT -I look for this to be a good, old solid ring war. TNT kind of needs the win to keep from slipping into mid-card obscurity again and Mental as a tag champ can easily absorb a singles lost. WINNER: TNT LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle -This should have been saved for the next ppv. This could be match of the year. I can't even fathom this being on a regular show and any sort of word limit is really a hindrance to the guys here. I've always liked TBS and Neilsen can lick my nad sac, so... WINNER: TBS SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki -I know things about pigeons, Lilly. Shit is going down. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams -This booking really came out of nowhere in my opinion, what with Danny just winning the ICTV. That makes me think that no matter who writes the winning match, Flesher is going over. Another potential match of the year candidate. WINNER: TOM FLESHER
Guest Suicide King Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Sigh. I don't give out title defenses and I get shit. I give out title defenses and I get shit. The solution? No more titles of course! To explain my booking... Neilsen and Strangler both have plotlines in existence, both of which put them at odds with me. Thus, they must be struck down. In particular Neilsen must be laid low with as many grueling and draining matches as possible in order to weaken him for the PPV match against me. Now, regarding the title match... Danny just got a big win over Neilsen, the person I am screwing over in the previous paragraph. King is overjoyed someone finally stopped him, and book this reward match in a fit of giddiness. What does this booking of a credible challenger accomplish? First, it draws more attention to the Flesher/King subplot of King not making things easy for him/respecting him as a champion, depending on your point of view. Second, it gives Danny a main event slot, which many people have been clamoring for since his dominant US Title run. Flesher himself OOC has been asking for as many title defenses as possible, and Danny has shown himself more than capable, not to mention that Frost and TNT are the other main event guys and they recently had a shot. I trust this clarifies matters? You know, sometimes big matches happen on regular shows too.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 You expect to read all the shows and promos AND think about them to gain the subtle nuisances? I'm just a simple hoss, I don't understand complicated things like your conviluted booking, your microwaves and your Jimmy Carters.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Yes, on the same note... I do LOVe the thought of Danny getting a title shot... but if he won... I dunno, it just seems like the Frost/Tom(/TNT) angle revolves around Tom havign the title a lot... so if Danny wins, it'd be... iffy. That's not me saying that Danno should job, of course. He's smart enough to work it all out... and hell, may the better man win. If Danny wins, then he deserves the title, whether the booking seemed out-of-nowhere or not. Case closed.
Guest Suicide King Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Terribly sorry Frost. As usual, I didn't take your feelings into consideration.
Secret Agent Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete Well, lemme see here. Rookie Vs Vet... I'll go with LDP so he can re-establish him self here. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel W&D of course. We ain't passing up another title shot! HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg Well like others mentioned. It really depends on wether JD want's the title or not. I'm at a loss here. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT Judge LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle Strangler SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki Frost MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams I'm going to say Tom with a very close match. Everyone knows Johnny D shall be the one to dethrone Tom Flesher!
Guest TheBostonStrangler Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 King, j00 r teh su><!!!!!!!!LOL2003!!!!!!1
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete Sean Atlas has been pretty impressive, but I think the old dog is about to teach the noob some new tricks. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel I can't quite picture Beezel and MVS as a team... so W&D with the W. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg Damn it's cool to know you built a scary rep. Let's hope I can hve my internet connected by the time it's due. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT The Judge elevates himself a bit here... unless TNT wakes up. Still... I wouldn't mind seeing Sir William in the ICTV scene soon. LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle Sweet shit... I think the Jungle King gives Stranglawhore a little bit of a tuning. This should be fun though SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki Frost walks out on Ejiro. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams Flesher is just too good for the title to be justifiably taking off him this night... These two should have a great battle, but I'd actually be happy with a no contest. Heh.
Guest Ace309 Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 I don't think ANY booking where the leader of a badass face stable whose mission is to destroy the rudo stable takes on the leader of said rudo stable is out of nowhere. But that's just me.
Guest realitycheck Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Although, Tom, Danny's stable hasn't done anything in opposition of the M7 to set up this match, yet, you dropping him from the M7 aside. Although, hell of a way to make a first impression... SINGLES MATCH Sean Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete Damn, I can't pick against the guy I just bumped, can I? ...but I can't pick against my leading subordinante, either! And I'm marking this. Crap. TAG MATCH Wild and Dangerous vs. Mike Van Siclen and Beezel I know something you don't know. HARDCORE TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Janus vs. Dace Night vs. Jay Dawg Tough to say. I don't know if JD really has anything to gain from beating Dace and Janus... I figure this will be more between Janus and Dace, again. That said, Dace beats Janus by blasting "Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan" from the arena stereo, and pinning him as he's screaming and grabbing his head. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. TNT I'll be safely on Judge, as I don't know if TNT will write... LAST MAN STANDING MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Neilsen of the Jungle This is the type of match that favours Neilsen, no question. But I talked to TBS a little while ago, and gave him some pointers on this match... reading his Handicap Match, he's still got a bit of rust, but I don't think that'll be a big factor. It may be a matter of confidence, and he's really middling on this match... ...But I'll be a pussy regardless. Push. SINGLES MATCH Frost vs. Ejiro Fasaki I'll go on the outside and take Ejiro for the upset, here. MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH FOR THE SWF WORLD TITLE! “The Superior One” Tom Flesher© vs. “Deathwish” Danny Williams Heh... it's funny. When I was marking Neilsen/Danny, for whatever reason, a thought occured to me. "You know, Danny's writing has come a long way... I wonder what would happen if they faced today? They haven't since the JL." Low and behold... The odds are stacked against Danny, however. Tom is Tom, and he's ungodly dominant. Danny's 0-2 or 0-3 versus Flesher in the past. Of course, that's from the JL, and the slate gets wiped clean, now. Therefor... and Tom might kill me... but I'm going to go way on the outside and pick Danny. Who might be in trouble, as Tom puts his workboots on when I predict against him. -Z
