Mrnoitaull 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I was just wondering who do all think had the best and /or worst Enterance theme to "coordinate" with their gimmick. Or who do you all think had the best/worst music to fit their personality. Mines are: Worst:Triple H's " My Time" theme when he was a heel, sorry Rey's "619" ...cheep pop.... Mat Hardy's Theme too badass but he's cool Sting's theme I dont know , just seemed too good for him to rarely show up little before the promotion ended. FBI- guess you gotta give em time , if they last that long Best: Undertaker"Dead Man Walking" William Regal's Theme ( how is he anyway?) D-Lo Theme "The Real Deal" The Duds first theme in WWF( with Pyro of course) and of course Ric Flair's

Guest tank_abbott Report post Posted May 14, 2003 "My Time" was actually a good fit for HHH (IMO) since at that point he was still struggling to grasp the top heel role he strived for, and that song let every one know he wouldn't let any one in the ring or out (politics...irony) stop him On the other hand: "Grab Them Cakes" for the JYD, I love the song, but WTF does that have to do with JYD? Ditto with piper's song on the Wrestling Album, I've listened to it for 15 years, and still am a bit confused as to what he is conveying. Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2003 "My Time" had EVERYTHING to do with Helmsley from 1999-2000, what are you talking about? Hunter's been blessed with the most appropriate entrance music his entire career. Meanwhile, worst... Rey Mysterio in WCW in 1997. I didn't watch wrestling back then and just downloaded Eddy vs. Rey this morning... why did Rey come out to the Zodiac Dungeon of Doom Kazoo music?

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2003 Taker's Rollin and Taker's American Bad Ass fitted him too. And lest we forget the Fabulous Rougeous "All Amercan Boys"! Rick Rude, The Warrior, Lex Luger. Sting's Seek And Destroy is one of my all time favourites, but the one he had before suited him a bit better. Also Rodney Mack's music sounds funny as hell. "Lie Cheat and Steal", the Hurricane's music, The Brood...there's loads of good ones. The worst- Might Molly's Hurricane version theme still makes me cringe when I hear it. Blackman and Albert when they used Too Cool's musics as Grandmaster/Scotty's partners. Stephanie's "All Grown Up Now" X-Factor's music just plain sucked. Cactus Jack using New York, New York for his ECW farewell speech. New Rockers using the Rockers theme. Heel Rockers with jumpy music didn't work.

Guest nl5xsk1 Report post Posted May 22, 2003 Am I the only one that preferred the old-school usage of real songs rather than manufacturing songs specifically for the wrestler? It just seemed like it told you more about the wrestlers real personalities, rather than just their gimmicks. Road Warriors using Iron Man in the AWA and NWA. Rick Rude using Smooth Operator in WCCW (including the Oooh Ricky before the song) Kerry Von Erich using Tom Sawyer in WCCW. Kevin Von Erich using Stranglehold in WCCW. Midnite Rockers using Living After Midnight in AWA.
Guest Stunt Granny Report post Posted May 22, 2003 I completely forgot about the New Rockers. Theme music wouldn't have helped, they were doomed from the get go.

Guest Cassius Atkinson Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Tommy Dreamer's Current Music sucks a bit... Ivory's Music used to piss me off, so did RTC's...man, it gave me a migraine. I really thought that Ultimate Warrior's music suited him good. I like it. Matt Hardy's music IS THE BEST! Oh, and Tank Abbott (if you're really the guy from UFC) WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SIG!? What are you, some kinda sicko!? lol j/k CA
Mrnoitaull 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2003 "You look so good to me" was kinda cool. Made you go " Oh God here come's the gay tag team" I always knew they werent gay!!! Guest Old Brown Heineken Report post Posted May 28, 2003 I've always found that ECW had the best music for their wrestlers... For example, "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple (Live and Recorded) Shane Douglas and Triple Threat "Loser" by Beck Mikey Whipwreck "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf Cactus Jack "Bad to the Bone" by George Thorogood Bad Crew "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar Super Nova (this one was hilarious!) "Walk" by Pantera Rob Van Dam "Super Bon Bon" by Soul Coughing Danny Doring and Roadkill The Theme from "Jaws" Sabu "Wild Thing" by the Troggs El Puerto Ricano "Stayin' Alive (remix)" by N-Trance Little Guido, The FBI
