I think that both sides will benefit from having the ic title but smackdown's ic ranks to me would be better.You got rhyno, o'haire,hardy, eddie, shelton, and other that could make it a hot division over there.Meanwhile on raw jericho and booker should be in the world title picture and this would be going backward in a way and rvd would be a good heel with the belt but who would be the list of guys going after to put on great matches?

I think they should put it on Smackdown and get rid of the Crusierwight belt. Guys like Noble, Misterio, and Kendrick could just compete for the IC belt. I don't think the Crusierweight title has been defended on the last two PPV's, so what's the point of it. And it's champion is the perfect guy to be holding the IC belt right now.

If the WWE would decide they wanted a great cruiserweight division they could have it. They have so many talented cruiserweights yet they won't push them.

I'm sure that he meant Backlash and Judgment Day, seeing as how there was no CW match at Backlash and Matt Hardy doesn't have a match on the card for Sunday, thus making it 2 PPV's in a row.

Well the u.s title on smackdown would be a good idea but i wonder when and how they would bring it in.Steph could always say she does not want to be one up by austin and make her battle royal for the us title, cause right now another tournament would not fit in since smackdown just did one to see who would face brock at backlash.

While I agree that a tourney was just done on Smackdown, with the King of the Ring PPV scrapped, they could hold a single elimination tournament for the U.S. Title instead at the PPV itself. That would be better than a second battle royal.

I'd send the Cruisers to RAW & the women to Smackdown. Then keep the Intercontinental title on RAW.

 

That way people like Hurricane, Jamie Knoble, Tajiri, Spanky, etc. could have a shot at one of two titles. It would certainly shake up the mid card. Unless, of course, X-Pac came back and was a double champion.

Raw needs a reason for the midcard even being there. I mean SD! actually has midcard feuds of worth. Raw has Steiner/Test vs La Resistance...Goldberg-Christian doesn't really count. Half the guys in the battle royal would have shit all to do without the match.

 

Getting rid of the Cruiser Title would virtually kill off Noble, Tajiri, Funaki, Crash et all for good. I really wish they'd give Hardy the push with the Cruiser Title though. With the right push, the Cruiser Title could be just as good as the IC Title...for some people, obviously, rather than others.

If they dump the CW Belt for a new midcard title on Smackdown (and I think they should), then this is a case where I agree with just handing the title to Matt Hardy. Basically, it would just be a renaming and removal of the weight limit. Kayfabe-wise, it is only fair that Matt gets to keep the belt.

Too many titles. The rule should be 1 main event singles title, 1 midcard singles title, and 1 tag title. Anything else (except maybe a women's belt) and you end up with a situation like you did from 1997-2002 where there were far too many titles and half of them were meaningless.

If it's a matter of just having equal secondary titles, keep the IC belt on RAW. SD! already has the CW belt, which is basically just another midcard belt, since WW_ doesn't let the cruiserweights wrestle like cruiserweights.

I'd say that the Tag Titles on RAW are equal to the CW title on Smackdown, while the Tag Titles on Smackdown would be equal to (an) IC title on RAW. The Womens title on RAW is equal to the Bikini Contest winner on Smackdown. And the two WorldWE titles are equal to those lil plastic things on the end of my shoe.

 

Either way, the IC title belongs on RAW - every player on Smackdown is tied to a Tag Team except Angle and Brock (Edge and Rey, Benoit and Rhyno, Eddie and Chavo) which is why the division still can work. HHH has created a situation on RAW where it's just him at the top of the mountain and everyone else is at the bottom - there needs to be progression on the show and people like Booker T and Hurricane need things to do.

 

(Anyone else think the WWE will bring in Rick Steiner? Kane and RVD already beat LOD, are the Steiner Bros in the works?)

The WWe way: Somehow Stephanie accidently awards it to Mr. America. Vince in his pyschotic hatred goes nuts trying to find a wrestler who can take the belt off Mr. America. Then Mr. America and the wrestler Vince chooses will feud over the belt.

 

 

In this case, either way would work. The crowds for some unknown reason eat Hogan up so awarding it to Hogan won't get the reaction the Raw title got when it was awarded to HHH. This would also get whoever takes it off Hogan over and the belt would be over.
