Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 15, 2003 # Many backstage in WWE believe Stephanie McMahon is taking way too much of the blame for the lackluster writing of the creative team, since her role isn't as significant as everyone believes it is. Apparently, every segment on RAW and Smackdown is approved by Vince McMahon and Stephanie is just an administrator for the writing staff. # Goldberg will most likely not be wrestling again until the Bad Blood Pay-Per View, where he's rumored to be facing Chris Jericho. # Ultimo Dragon will officially start with WWE on May 18th. Although Dragon will likely be treated will less respect in WWE than in Japan, he has made the decision to join the company to accomplish two of his career goals: wrestling at Madison Square Garden and being a part of a WrestleMania. If he were to be placed on the card for next year's WrestleMania, he will accomplish both of those goals. (Thanks to The Wrestling Observer)

Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Wait. May 18th is the PPV. So is he or is he not participating in the PPV in some way? And Ultros is not respected as much by the WWE? I know the guy has dreams, but come on. If he's not respected as he should be, then why be there?

What are the chances he'll get on the WM card next year for that matter?

Ultimo Dugas 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Also because you know, the Japanese in general respect the wrestlers more. Its just not like the WWE to give a great deal of respect to big name foreign wrestlers.

If he's not respected as he should be, then why be there? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ...sighs... I knew that's a reason, but still. What are the chances he'll get on the WM card next year for that matter? Because Vince thinks guys from Japan are 'evil' and shouldn't have any respect. Seriously, I hope he gets the amount of respect he deserves. Fuck Steph, she doesn't need any TV time. Goldberg fighting Jericho at Badd Blood? What happened to him fighting Triple-Juice? Let me guess, a wrestling skills on a pole match between Triple-Juice and Kevin Nash.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 16, 2003 Well Steph, put Paul E back in charge and blame it on him if thing go poorly...least good wrestling was on then.
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 16, 2003 It was MUCH better back when Paul was booking, MUCH better.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted May 16, 2003 best way for Ultimo to debut......taking Chavo's place in the ladder match. But that probably won't happen.
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted May 16, 2003 Ultimo vs. Benoit at WM XX would be a show stealer I think.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted May 16, 2003 Here is a little more about Goldberg... WWE.com is reporting that Bill Goldberg worked through the steel cage match with Christian with 3 disclocated bones in his right hand. Goldberg mentioned that the injury came from his extensive workout routine. He went on to say that the gloves he wears does help his injuries at times, but sometimes, bone's just pop out. Credit: 411mania Damn, who gets hurt more? Triple H or Goldberg. Anyone else think this injury happen during the beer bash when he slipped and almost dropped Bischoff on his head? Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted May 16, 2003 Ultimo might appear on the ppv as Chavo's replacement for the ladder match, well this is just me wishing out loud.

Guest Steviekick Report post Posted May 16, 2003 Ultimo and Eddie would be amazing. But I don't see how Eddie's current character would mesh with Ultimo
The Dames 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2003 I find it funny that Steph is reported not to have as big of a hand as we normally thought and no one here says almost anything about it. Dames
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 16, 2003 I'm sorry but I fail to see the love fest for a Eddy/Dragon combo at J.D... I wouldn't risk bringing him back with a FRIGGIN ladder match...
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2003 Does Stephanie do any of the writing herself? I don't really blame her, though the "Steady as she goes" strategy isn't going to help much.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 16, 2003 I think she just goes "What have we got here?" and the writers give her the notes and she merely hands them over to daddy... I doubt she actually sits down and writes...
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2003 So then she can't be entirely to blame for the bad writing. Of course, she can still be on my shit list for even bringing up the idea of a feud with Sable.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 16, 2003 It's not saying that Ultimo won't get respect in WWe. It's just saying that WWe won't as respectful as Japan, which has always been the case. The article said why Ultimo is dealing with the respect difference, he wants to wrestle at MSG and WM at least once in his career. It wouldn't be hard to get him on the WM card. They could set up Ultimo vs. someone like Rey or Beniot a week before the show.

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 16, 2003 the problem with the Bad writing isn't Steph's problem although I think the extent of her Power goes to helping cement HHH's hold on the World title.... beyond that I doubt she has any interest in the product seriously or other wrestlers the Bad Writing is because the creative end has left the Classic Wrestling Bookers and Writers and the WWE been pushing more TV hollywood oriented Writers for storylines...
