Tommy Dreamer was over as champ, Hurricane can make the 24/7 rule work.

The whole "hardcore" idea in WWE has always been weak. Why bother if you're not going to do it to injury-causing lengths?

I want it back without the 24 7 rule. It could be something unique to Raw like the Cruiserweight title is to Smackdown.

Raw has the Women's Title, which is sadly the equivalent of the Cruiserweight Title. Sadly because the Cruiser Title should be more prestigious, not because I dislike women's wrestling.

Anyways, WWF/E hardcore baaaaaad...

The 24/7 rule was amusing, but I totally marked out when Bischoff said that he was getting rid of that rule... and then the bloody HC title was retired a week later. Put the belt on Tommy Dreamer and let him do matches like the Singapore Cane one with Stevie.

I found the 24/7 rule amusing, so I say bring it back

I would like to see it back in some serious good matchs without the 24/7 rule. If they put it on the line in matchs like Raven vs Rhyno at Backlash 2001 it would become presigous again.

They already have to many titles in the fed, let it rest in peace..

It never really had a great run anyway, a few decent matches here and there ie Raven vs Rhyno at Backlash 2001, Road Dogg vs Al Snow Late 1998 Raw...

I say bring it back with the 24/7 rule.

When the hardcore belt was around it got many wrestlers over with the fans and from a low carder to a mid carder wrestlers like

Crash Holly

Hardcore Holly

Al Snow

Big Boss Man

and some others.

Bring it back Vince Mcmahon.

i agree bring the thing back, it also acted as a match where technique was needed and in some good matches there was alot of holy shit chants and kill yourself chants, hey how else is the big show gonna look good

Blah, don't bring it back.

I don't think there's any room for it now.

Without the 24/7 rule , the hardcore title could have been something good.

The best hardcore title matches (Raven vs. Rhyno, RVD vs. Jericho) had some actual wrestling in them, and no lame run-ins.

Had they done more matches like that, I really think it could have been good.

They never will, so don't bring it back.

I hate the Hardcore title and hope it never comes back. It's just a meaningless title to put crappy and pointless wrestlers in to bad matches because the company had nothing better to do with them at the time.

I liked it when Vince originally gave it to Foley as a novelty belt to make him feel better but the second it became a regular title it went to shit.

I voted no. It was fun "in the day", but it's over. The title wasn't even a title. It was very meaningless, often times didn't make PPVs, no really intriguing storylines and only seemed to hold down those who had it. The value started rising again with RVD and Undertaker holding it so long, but then it took a jump down with Maven. I don't have a problem with Maven, so I didn't mind, thought it was kind of interesting, especially after the somewhat elevation, but from when he got it, it just went down and ended up being worse than ever, not necessarily because of him, but just how it was handled. I loved the concept and matches back when it was new, but it got too stale and as much as I think there should be a few more titles available to help guys, I just don't see this helping anyone, therefore having no point.
