Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 Bump! We need more votes, it's the finals.
PsychoDriver Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 The Twilight ZONE Next stop is willoughby
Mecha Mummy Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Monty Python owns everything. Twilight Zone's mother was a hamster and its father smelt of elderberries. I vote for Python.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 24, 2003 Report Posted May 24, 2003 Bump! I think I'll extend until Monday, but get those votes in!
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 Twilight Zone (Where the hell were MST3k and Newsradio? Bastards!)
Guest Flyboy Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 (Where the hell were MST3k and Newsradio? Bastards!) There was already a tourny for them (Michael Joel Benoit is running it). I don't consider either of those classics.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 These are 'classic' shows. The criteria I posted when the tournament began was that shows had to have been out of first run production since 1993 (or have the largest majority of shows made before 1993) and have spent one year in the Neilsen's top 30. This excludes both MST3K and News Radio. As flyboy said, there was another tournament which were mostly newer and cult shows and I wanted to go a different direction.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 My bad. So what the hell are we voting for?
Guest Flyboy Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 Here. There ya go, Big. It's the other tourny I was talking about.
Guest godthedog Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 when was monty python's flying circus in the nielson top 30?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 Actually, I forgot to mention that I allowed a few special exemptions to include game shows, cartoons and other programs that didn't fall under normal Neilsen guidelines to get a broader range of shows and programs that I knew people would want to vote on. I also added some British shows in the second round due to some bitching that those programs were not be represented. The only rule I guess that has really been stuck too is the pre 1993 rule. As for what you're voting on, just which show you like better.
