Yep. That's the case in my high school as well. I make good points (with witty humor that makes a select few laugh) but no one cares, and promptly discusses the point of a more popular, or socially palatable person, while my soul sheds a single tear.

Incandenza and I aren't the same people at all. Our posting style is totally different, as far as I'm concerned. Always first to resort to the cheap joke, Incandenza's style is sort of a poor man's substitute for my wittier, more verbose manner of posting. Frankly, I'm shocked and offended that this is even an issue, as I feel that the only basis for it is the fact that we have fairly similar taste in music. No top 10 list, but I will put over a few people. Just about everyone at the gaming forum rules. The Buffy thread is the best thread here. In particular I must give a shout out for Cavi. This guy is so freakin hardcore it's scary. He is by far the most knowledgable fan of Buffy I have ever seen. Also the Rudo/Down Home wars are always fun to read. Anglesault deserves credit for being both obnoxious and likable at the same time. Yuna gets props for the girl power FF X fan deal. Of course Dames for owning the forum and because I've known him since like 1999. KOR is my hero because he also loves Tekken.
