Guest Eagan469 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Well Done right here. The rest of my family likes it rare, which I think is disgusting as it looks like you just took a knife to the friggin' animal.
Guest Bannable Offense Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Medium-rare for me. Cooked, but still nice and juicy inside.
Guest ISportsFan Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Medium is nice and good for me. Jason
Guest El Satanico Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 :takes a bite and lets the juices run down my chin: warm and red medium rare to the civilised people. Well done cooks the taste out and it's like eating leather.
Guest treble charged Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Medium's good, but I'm not picky. Anthing not burnt is fine by me.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Annihilated by fire. Tough as shoeleather. Fuck juciness, and fuck flavor.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Well done, borderline burnt. Just like mom used to make.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Well done but cooked slow so you don't scorch the outside.
Guest Vyce Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Well done, borderline burnt. Just like mom used to make. Damn straight. That's how I cook my meat. However, if you're going to eat out at a restaurant - never get it anything more cooked than medium. Cause if you ask for "well done", they will give you their shittiest piece of meat and then just scorch the hell out of it so you can't tell the difference. BTW, I'm very proud that no one yet has made some sort of double entendre about this threat title.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 23, 2003 Report Posted May 23, 2003 (edited) BBR Burnt Beyond Recognition Thats the technical term for wanting food cooked til its extra burnt. Im not super picky, although I don't think I'll be eating any steaks straight from the cow. Give me at least medium-rare and up, but not well done. Well Done is bad! If I went out and bought some fancy cuts at the butcher and cooked them myself, they taste exactly the same as the cheaper ones, so I just get whatever's on sale. For example, I'd make a filet medallion look like a beefy hockey puck.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted May 23, 2003 Report Posted May 23, 2003 Vyce, the only problem with only ordering it medium is that most people's medium might as well be Pittsburgh to me. It's just too rare. Maybe I'll do medium-well, but even then it's normally still mooing. I'll take my chances with the ass end of the meat. And if they burn the piss out of it, no worries: it's what I'm used to anyways.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted May 23, 2003 Report Posted May 23, 2003 Medium rare for me. I want a little blood.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 23, 2003 Report Posted May 23, 2003 Medium -- that way if it's under- or over-cooked I'd still eat it...
Guest EsotericMaster Posted May 24, 2003 Report Posted May 24, 2003 Medium rare for me. Watching people eat steak weel done is pretty nasty. I have even seen people put ketchup on their steak. Such a waste.
