Who needs a change of gimmick/angle right now?

Yes, I'm bored once again at night and am trying to get a conversation going with a few threads, heh.

 

Out of everyone in WWE, who do you feel needs a change of either gimmick or angle? There's quite a few, as many guys just seem to "be there" for right now, and it's painfully obvious. I hope this changes now with the split PPV's though, I really do. There are so many guys that either aren't on TV, or who are on TV but when they ARE on, they just seem to be there with no purpose at all. Then we have the guys who ARE involved, but just seem lost or old and stale. I'd love to see Benot/Rhyno really get something new to do. Hell, ANYTHING to do for now. Hopefully, as the rumor goes, this will happen once Kurt Angle returns.

Concerning RVD, I STILL feel that the only way he'll ever be a true main eventer is if he plays the cocky bastard of a heel role. If he did that, I think his subpar mic skills would be fine for the role, and could REALLY piss off the fans and the faces he goes against.

Personally I think Undertaker really needs something new. The biker thing was ok at first with the respect thing but its's fucking boring now. And HHH, really needs to change. He looks like a bigger, slower, retarded Ric Flair from the 80s. He looked a lot more like the credible bad ass he is supossed to be when he was dressing in jeans and t-shirts. He looks really out of place in his get up now. And the pansy red and purple gear has to go. He should have stuck with the black.

Oh, definitely. Val, in his porn star form, should be dead and buried. In fact, I really liked the more serious Val Venis from when he was being managed by Trish. So just attach that character to the Sean Morley name. And hell, they should've just kept Storm and Morley together. Certainly a better team than Storm and Regal at least, and it gives you one more much needed team for the tag ranks.

 

And I've mentioned this before, but Hurricane should really begin distancing himself from the superhero thing. I think the joke has been taken as far as it can go, short of bringing in an equally over the top villain.

HHH's Flair-wannabe character is just sad. And Taker's character is THEEEE MOOOOOST BOOOOORING there is. I'd rather watch Billy Kidman cut a 10 minute promo than watch Taker cut a 5 minute one.

 

The Dudleys have been stale for a looooong time, but breaking them up was not the solution.

 

I do hope Rico gets a new gimmick.

1) Lance Storm --- what the hell is he supposed to be now? He bored the hell out of me, and at least WCW did something good with him...go back to being from Calgary.......Alberta.....Canada.

 

2)Triple H---- Drop the pretty boy wanna be Flair shit, and just go back to the badass yo were. At least you looked credible back then.

 

3)Rikishi---- This guy moves well for a big man, and i like his gimmick when he first made his re-debut in WWe as Rikishi Phatu. The dancing shit has been stale for 3-4 years now..

I get really goofy with my montages. I like to use the 'ghost-effect' and place one clip over an identical one so there is a trailing image... really fucking cool... but if you use it alot it really slows the process down.

I also agree that RVD has to turn heel on Kane and go to the heel cocky bastard......and also have Kane turn heel and go back to his olde more tortured, darker character...i cant stand Kane now

 

BTW, RRR what do you think of the Pride lineup for next months ppv.........Coleman vs. Frye should be good and Herring vs. Cro Cop should be really good also.
