i like your idea, but i dont know how well Benoit would go over as champ while being the #2 babyface on SD. The marks will still want brock to get the title.

Benoit can't have a four month reign, because Lesnar is the future of the company, and the title needs to be on him.

In his first defence, Benoit turns, alligns with Heyman (or Angle) and screws Lesnar out of the belt. Benoit then dodges Lesnar untill the Royal Rumble, where he loses. Meanwhile Angle wins the Rumble setting up a WM HIAC match. Everyone goes home satisfied

Yeah, I posted this topic in there a few days ago and NO ONE replied.

With my plan, Benoit gets a title reign (1 or 2 months is better than NEVER), and Brock is protected.

You know thats something weird...

 

Several SmartMarks think (I include myself) they can book the WWE with their eyes closed and TSM create a forum for that.

 

Then they go and post his/her/their stuff... And get ZERO (or almost zero) replies.

 

WHY?

 

Why you guys dont read your fellow partners stuff?

Anything's better than the Mr. America angle taking up over a quarter of every show and slow talentleft workers such as Hogan, McMahon, Piper, Nash, and HHH headlining pay-per-views. (And that isn't just HHHate. The "talent" really left his ass a long time ago.) I admit the Mr. America angle is a little amusing. But I'd much rather see Benoit doing ANYTHING other than jobbing to every last worker, deserving or not, on the roster. Yeah, you're idea isn't too bad there, Ray. I'd personally like to see Benoit the character just refocus and start winning matches involved in interesting storylines leading to an eventual title fight. And I don't think that would be too undesirable for the common viewer either. But what do I know? I'm just a "smart mark".

Any chance to actually put the title on Benoit would be a good thing.

 

That being said, it will never happen. Benoit should have kept his WCW title. It was the only world title he'll ever see.
