Best ever Hardcore Title match

Simple question...what was the best Hardcore Title match ever in the WWE/F history? I'm not gonna poll it cause there's a whole load of possibilities...my pick, RVD vs Y2J from Unforgiven 2001. Rhyno vs Raven was good, but didn't go as long as RVD/Y2J did.

I loved this damn match.

I totally agree, except for the loving it part. The only hardcore title match I remember.

For mark reasons, my favorite is Shane vs. Steve Blackman from Summerslam 2000. I mark out for Blackman, and Shane's bump was insane.

Shanes bump was more than insane, it was off the chart, but no he decides jumping on the Big Show might be a bit more fun, Shane O Mac for president

Everytyhing about the match worked. It was just a well done match with a hot crowd.

 

It's probably the only hardcore title match that I'll watch every now and then.

I liked the previously mentioned Snow/Road Dogg. I thought the Battle Royal from Wrestlemania 2000 was kinda fun, although it has been a while since I've seen it. I can't really think of any thing else that great that wasn't covered...

RVD had a string of fun hardcore matches when he came in.

 

MAinly because they weren't "hit with trash can" matches...just RVD matches (when his offense was fresh to the audience) with the hardcore title.

 

In fact...he once had a good match with Undertaker for the hardcore title (Vengeance 2001).

I would say Al Snow vs. Road Dogg. Had a mix of wreckless violence and success that worked for me. Namely, the poinsettia to the face. I doubt I'll ever forget that moment. A bit of seemingly improvised violence that hit right on the money.
