Guest Nevermortal Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 This guy. Horshu. If they keep the Horshu gimmick, I will laugh my ass off, then promptly kick the TV screen in. God I hate Horshu.
Guest raptor Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 What's so bad about his gimmick? I mean besides the fact that he looks like he should be in PG-13.
Guest Nevermortal Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 What's so bad about his gimmick? I mean besides the fact that he looks like he should be in PG-13. Well, he's a HOSS~! Plus his hair is shaved in the shape of a Horse Shoe. And he puts his arms in the shape too. Its fucking stupid.
Guest Vyce Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 I've seen him wrestle a bit. I'm not that impressed - he's just another hoss to me. But he is better than Nathan Jones. Of course, it would be hard not to be.
Guest raptor Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Oh... HORSHU... HA! That's everything but clever. This is going to suck.
Guest Downhome Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Plus his hair is shaved in the shape of a Horse Shoe. And he puts his arms in the shape too. Its fucking stupid. *goes over my head* Fucking hell, I never even noticed that and I remember the guy from WCW! I watched WCW Saturday Night religiously.
Guest raptor Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 So I Googled Horshu, and here's what I found out: His finisher(s): Rope Walk Elbow, Top Rope Cross Body, Second Rope Shoulder Block His catch phrase: There's no business like 'shu business He's a Power Plant Grad ...and for your enjoyment, the haircut from the top of his head.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 BULLLLLSHIT. I never saw him WIN a match, let alone do an impressive move.
ChrisMWaters Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Hmm...shouldn't Horshu be a part of a new Four Horsemen? After all...horses need horseshoes... ...OK...bad pun.
Guest Nanks Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Stunned it's taken this long to be asked, but what's the source on this one?? This signing seems more baffling than many WWE decisions (big statement I know)
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Horshu had a FINISHER? You mean he actually WON?? Damn from what I can vaguely remember he should have been part of the JOB Squad (aka, pin me and pay me). Well, he's hoss-tastic enough that I'm sure he'll show up soon on SD and promptly pin Benoit, Spanky, Eddie G, or some other "useless lightweight" (TM WWE Inc.).
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Because what the WWE needs most of all is more marginally talented hosses, ones with fucking retarded gimmicks no less. This company never learns.
Guest raptor Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Stunned it's taken this long to be asked, but what's the source on this one?? This signing seems more baffling than many WWE decisions (big statement I know) Wrestling Observer, I believe.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 And here CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Chirs Daniels, Chris Hero, Trent Acid, AJ Styles, Low Ki, Chris Sabin, Nick Berk, and Mikey Whipwreck sit without WWE contracts. I just don't have anything to add.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 And here CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Chirs Daniels, Chris Hero, Trent Acid, AJ Styles, Low Ki, Chris Sabin, Nick Berk, and Mikey Whipwreck sit without WWE contracts. You really want them to job to A-Train and Big Show, or do you want them to job to 3MW on Heat? That's exactly what would happen if WWE signed them, and you know it. They're better off in the Indies right now.

Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Does "Better off in the indies" mean $40 paydays as apposed to a WWE contract?
Guest Nevermortal Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Does "Better off in the indies" mean $40 paydays as apposed to a WWE contract? Better off in the indies when it comes to getting meaningful matches, not in terms of the payday; plus you are always taken care of if you get seriously injured. Its all about security.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 I'm all for the classic Hero vs Punk matches and stuff like that. But IWA MS's attendance has been in the shitter and not that many people get to see them on video. I know guys like that would be brought in as jobbers at first, but I'd like to see them on tv.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 His catch phrase: There's no business like 'shu business Well, there it is. The single worst catchphrase in the istory of wrestling. It's so bad, that it HAS to be real. You can't make shit like that up.

Guest wrestlingbs Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 God, I've never seen him, and I already hate him. Doesn't he look like old-school Nash?
Guest razazteca Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 I would rather see that Hoss that was Al Green as an Heat jobber than Horseshoe
Guest The Czech Republic Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Of all the WCW guys to sign, WHO IN THE WHOLE FUCKING UNIVERSE would've picked HORSHU???? This is the weirdest fucking thing yet.
Guest Indy Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 His catch phrase: There's no business like 'shu business Well, there it is. The single worst catchphrase in the istory of wrestling. Agent_Bond34 Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Horshu? This gimmick has WrestleCrap written all over it and then some. ..... You just knew someone was gonna say it.
