Swear to God I saw Benoit do a rings of saturn/crossface hyrbid once. Arms looped like the rings, with the head still pulled back. Looked awkward and incredibly painful.

I'll atest to the indian deathlock being a painful hold, i learnt how to do it recently and spent about 20 minuites trying to perfect it, fianlly got it just right and made my friend who as long as i have known him never tapped out, tap out to it.

The crossface looks the most painfull, if for no other reason than Benoit has THE MOST INTENSE expressions on his face, where you get the feeling that if it didn't hurt like a 4 inch thick 20 inch long hot polka up the arse he wouldn't be using it.

The Rock has ruined the sharpshooter for me, and just makes it look silly....... he almost did the same with the crossface when he went through his "move stealing phase"......... the rock should never ever be a submission wrestler.... nor should he ever win by submission.
