Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Like a tribute video for a wrestler or something. Myself, I've always wanted to see one for a cocky heel set to "My Hero" by the Foo Fighters. Imagine how much heat Christian could get if he had one made for himself set to that song..... Anyway, what would you pick?
Guest MaxPower27 Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I always thought that "Downfall" by TrustCompany would be great for a Bret Hart/Steve Austin video package
Guest Nevermortal Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Cloud Connected by In Flames. I set it to a few clip compilations I did.
Guest Choken One Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 "What an Wonderful World" This would be an GREAT song to put to something really sick and twisted just to add an sicking sadistic edge to it... I wish they would end the Nu-Metal parade and do some Rap Induced themes...
Guest mickberna Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Cloud Connected by In Flames. In Flames kicks ass. I think Queensryche's "Silent Lucidity" would make a good tribute package. I know the words wouldn't make any sense, but oh well.
Guest wildpegasus Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I'll state the obvious and say "eye of the tiger" This would go well for Benoit. "The Final Countdown" has been used before but not lately so I think it'd make a great video highlighting an epic feud.
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I could see the song "Brand New Low" by Treble Charger as a pretty good theme song for a PPV. It would be especially good in a betrayal feud.
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 ^ could this be labeled gimmick infringement from TC
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Nah, I've always liked their music. I just don't have my name dedicated to them.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 "Like the Sun" by I Mother Earth. "In the End" by Linkin Park "PowerTrip" by Monster Magnet. "Boom" by POD "It really don't matter to me" by Confidential "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff
Guest Deebo Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 "Dosed" by Red Hot Chili Peppers I could seeing that being good for a tribute video of a guy who died or a guy who's retiring.
Guest Coffey Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 "What an Wonderful World" This would be an GREAT song to put to something really sick and twisted just to add an sicking sadistic edge to it... Heh. They could do that to hype Foley coming back. Just have that song playing while showing Foley bleeding all over the world and shit.
Garth Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I always thought 2 Lions by Dis-Harmony would make a great video package song.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Shadows Fall - "The Art Of Balance" Shadows Fall - "Stepping Outside The Circle" Nevermore - "Believe In Nothing" Nevermore - "Beyond Within" Metallica - "The Outlaw Torn" Tool - "Lateralus"
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Three Days Grace- I Hate Everything About You
Guest Nevermortal Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Another one. "Ecstasy of Gold" by Ennio Morocone from "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly". Awesome song.
cawthon777 Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Bush - Chemicals Between Us Garbage - Push It Marc Cohen - Walking in Memphis ... Would be great for Lawler The Wallflowers - Heroes Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight Tonight ... that song has WrestleMania written all over it
Guest caboose Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Another one. "Ecstasy of Gold" by Ennio Morocone from "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly". Awesome song. I actually used that as the background music to a video package in the OAOAST.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Rx Bandits - "Infection" Rush - "Tom Sawyer" or you could use Deadsy's cover to make it seem "modern" Jimi Hendrix - "All Along The Watchtower" In Flames - "Ordinary Story" since we can never have too much In Flames on one thread Gary Jules - "Mad World" At The Drive In - "One Armed Scissor"
Guest netslob Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 "One Step Closer" by Linkin Park "mOBSCENE" by Marilyn Manson. "Only One" by Slipknot (perfect for a video package showcasing an upcoming blow-off to a fued, what with the chorus "Only one of us walks away...")
Guest Austin3164life Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 "The End" (Doors) for Kevin Nash's road to the World Championship.
Guest MideonMark Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 -'Glorious'-Andreas Johnson -The classical music from the start of 'Raging Bull', I always thought would be good for a Legends video package or for someone who has died -I'll probably be ridiculed for this choice, but what the hell: 'Fighter'-Christina Aguilera. If that isnt a video package theme, I dont know what is
Guest Si82 Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Now, this may just be me being odd but... I think that "Fell In Love With A Girl" by The White Stripes would have been perfect for a video package of the Triple H/Stephaine/Kurt Angle love triangle. Just an opinion.
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 For a history piece from then until now for Wrestlemania XX..... Van Halen's "Right Now".
cawthon777 Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 -I'll probably be ridiculed for this choice, but what the hell: 'Fighter'-Christina Aguilera. If that isnt a video package theme, I dont know what is They used it for the NBA. I'm not sure how it would translate to wrestling but it has potential.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 "One-armed Scissor - At the Drive In. This song would be a bad ass video to show an escalating feud that has been building for a while......
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I concur w/ "One Armed Scissor". Add "Obstacle 1" by Interpol to that list.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 "What Would You Have Me Do?" by Local H would work for a really well-done feud. I can't remember all of the lyrics, but the first two verses would work well. The music itself is well-written and has an emotional feel to it.
