Desire seriously injures back

Kim Nielsen (Desire) suffered a back injury last night during an XPlosion match at the NWATNA pay-per-view and remains hospitalized in Nashville this morning.

Nielsen completed the match, but collapsed in the dressing room and was treated on the scene by the TNA trainer. An ambulance was called and she was taken to a local hospital.

 

Initial word from the hospital is that she suffered a compression fracture of her L1 vertebrae, and will be out of action for several weeks.

Damn. I was there live for the match, and didn't notice anything wrong. Either it didn't affect her right away, or she sucked it up and kept going in a superhuman fashion. (Or I could be really inobservant.) Whatever happened, too bad, hope she recovers soon.

I really don't get why WWE cut her. She looks great and can wrestle decently enough. It doesn't make sense. WWE tends to go for that fake blonde fake tit look more though, so I guess that was why.

Good Lord, if she did it and felt it during the match, she's tougher than me. I woulda told the other chick to put a weak iron claw on me and then would have tapped immediately.
