If they let Cruisers wrestle only crusiers (occasionally wrestle the U.S. Title contenders), there won't be too many titles on one show. Matt Hardy is not a Cruiserweigt, and he would move up to the U.S. division, which would be dominated by Benoit, Rhyno, Cena, Eddy, and Matt. Then they could keep the CW focus on Rey Jr., Ultimo, Spanky, and Jamie Knoble. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I already called Rhyno-Benoit for the US Title at Vengeance in the spoilers thread. It seems the only logical thing to do. Seeing as Eddie is Tag Champ, Matt is going after Rey and the Cruiser Title. Although saying that, WWE doesn't always go for logical. They could always have the final of the almost inevitable tournament as Mysterio vs Ultimo... They should really take advantage of the footage and include EVERYONE who held the title to make a really respectable and presigous video package. The video should include: Harley Race, Johnny Valentine, Terry Funk, Paul Jones, Blackjack Mulligan, Bobo Brazil, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Mr. Wrestling, Jimmy Snuka, Greg Valentine, Wahoo McDaniel, Roddy Piper, Sgt. Slaughter, Dick Slater, Manny Fernandez, Tully Blanchard, Magnum T.A, Nikita Koloff, Lex Luger, Dusty Rhodes, Barry Windham, Michael Hayes, Stan Hansen, Sting, Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Dustin Rhodes, Jim Duggan, Vader, Meng, Kensuke Sasaki, One Man Gang, Konnan, Eddy Guerrero, Diamond Dallas Page, Dean Malenko, Jeff Jarrett, Steve McMichael, Curt Hennig, Raven, Goldberg, Bret Hart, Scott Hall, Scott Steiner, Booker T, David Flair, Chris Benoit, Sid Vicious, Lance Storm, Mike Awesome, General Rection, Shane Douglas, Rick Steiner, Kanyon, Tajiri, Rhyno, Kurt Angle and Edge. I'd MUCH rather have the one above than the last one WCW used. But you know it'll be that one since they actually already have it in their possession and because God only knows where the old NWA US title is. Still a much cooler design in my opinion and it's not out of the question to have a new belt made (ala the SD! Tag Team Titles) instead of just digging up a pre-made strap.
