Guest thetrendsetter Report post Posted June 18, 2003 WWE Raw scored a 4.1 cable rating last night, with a 6.6 share. The show did hours of 3.8 and 4.3, and was up .6 from last week's 3.5 rating. credit: 1wrestling.com This could mean alot of things though, it could mean a low buyrate for the PPV, with people checking out RAW to see what happen at Bad Blood... Although, on the other side, it wasn't a stacked show by any means, as Triple H, Flair, HBK, Nash among others didn't wrestle. I'm thinking on seeing a sustaining of the momentum next week, as a huge show with Title VS Mask, Trips VS Kane? Anybody wish to comment?

Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Austin and Foley = Ratings~ Kane was just in the right place at the right time, it could of been anybody and got the same rating. Hell it could of been Hurricane in the same situation and got the same rating.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Next week should be better. I like Kane and so I'm kind of hyped about the match. As long as they don't do the bullshit DQ swerve where nothing happens.
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted June 18, 2003 RVD on main event=ratings
Murmuring Beast 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I'm expecting 4.7 next week.
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Low buyrate usually equals low rating on raw the next night, not the opposite. niko
JN News 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Does it really matter who's responsible for the ratings boost? We all know wHHHo will step forward, and take credit for it, in the end.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I'm crediting Mick for the ratings. Nothing else really makes sense. Who will be the next Evolution member? No, not really. Decent hook to keep people watching, even if in the end nobody joined on Raw, but certaintly not a ratings draw. RVD/Kane vs. La Resistance? Yeah, right. I wasn't even sure if the tag match would be the main event until Maven vs. Orton. The fallout from Bad Blood? Much better and more important after-Raw PPVs have gotten lower ratings than this. No way. So I'm going with Mick.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Austin is the one who should get the credit, he is the #1 non wrestling talent on the show and made the Kane angle work. Austin also made the usual BORING Lance Storm match into something that was a watchable angle. Eric Bishoff could of been the main figure in both angles but would not of received the same results with the 3 Minute Men run in. Austin = Ratings
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Austin = Ratings? Ummm, no. He's been on Raw for quite a while and the ratings have always fluctuated from 3.4 to 3.9. Mick returns, and one week later the ratings are above 4.0 despite no hyped matches or ANYTHING. Coincidence? I think not.
Murmuring Beast 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I think Austin has spiked interest. Bischoff is being wasted/humiliated by Vinnie Mac and co, despite the fact that he is a modern day genius in terms of wrestling.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Austin brought his A game not his Beer game when you let Austin do something other than the usual redneck material, he brings results. Foley was not in the second hour main event promo was he?
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Austin spiked interest a bit, but I don't think he's done THAT much.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 18, 2003 It's a combo of Foley and Kane. Seriously...Doesn't anyone remember that Ratings Evaluation report where it revealed Kane was the highest rated Superstar? That shows the fans care about Kane... Which is Why i'm banking on a 4.5+ show if they dont train wreck it...
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Actually, Kane was #1 in the main event slot. Not overall. That same report had Big Show on the very bottom of the list of drawing superstars. Not quite the asset you proclaimed him to be in that other thread, is he....
