Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 I still don't understand how someone can hate Bond movies. Jeesh That's the one thing that bothers me about this thread, How can someone not like James Bond movies? I mean seriously they rule. *shrug* They've just never appealed to me, and I've never had an interest of watching. Yuna, my advice would be to rent "From Russia, With Love" and "For Your Eyes Only." The first is a wonderful spy story with action, sex, mystery, catfighting, assassins, people on fire, and an enigmatic, faceless, villain... "For Your Eyes Only" is a bit more light hearted, but has a ton of cool stuff in it, as well as having the single greatest ski chase in cinema history.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 You must rent Moonraker! Moonraker is great! mooooooonraaaaaakeeeer
Guest Vitamin X Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 Everyone knows The Spy Who Loved Me is the ultimate Bond flick..

Here's how I rank the Bond films: 1. From Russia With Love 2. Goldfinger 3. The Spy Who Loved Me 4. On Her Majesty's Secret Service 5. The Living Daylights 6. For Your Eyes Only 7. Thunderball 8. Dr. No 9. License To Kill 10. Dr. No 11. Octopussy 12. GoldenEye 13. Die Another Day 14. Live and Let Die 15. Diamonds Are Forever 16. Moonraker 17. Tomorrow Never Dies 18. The World is Not Enough 19. The Man With the Golden Gun 20. A View to a Kill
Guest El Satanico Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 I liked Moonraker. It was absurd...insane...goofy...all around fun I actually don't like Timothy Dalton's Bond films that much, but they were better than Pierce Bronson's Bond films. Pierce is a good Bond, but I've hated all of his films. Pierce's films try too damn hard to be cute and end up looking extremely cheesy. The only reason I care about their films is the presense of Joe Don Baker.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 Top 5 Bond films are: 1. From Russia with Love 2. For Your Eyes Only 3. Goldfinger 4. License to Kill - Who cares if it's too dark and violent, Bond isn't supposed to be a child friendly character 5. Dr. No Best Brosnan film is Tomorrow Never Dies. And I don't like Spy Who Loved Me for some reason. I'd rank it top 10 but not top 5.
