WWE Releases A Member Of Raw Creative Team

Recommended Posts

Guest BoboBrazil

WWE writer Chris Bell was let go from the Raw brand Creative Team. Bell, who came from California's UPW promotion, was on a three month deal and was told this week that it would not be renewed. I have not heard any reason as to why he let go but I had heard good things about him.

I wonder if it was due to him that Raw was getting better in recent weeks.

From all accounts, Geekwitz HATED Bell, presumably because he knew Bell was better suited for being a writer than he was. Geekwitz had apparently been trying to see to it Bell was gotten rid of.

Damn, Ram had me about to cry from laughing so hard...

On a serious note, though, hosserific, either scale that pic down or get rid of it altogether because while people like me have sigs off and don't get the "pleasure" of seeing it, others do and it stretches the fuck out of the tables.

So please, fix it before posting again.

They need to let go of all creative save for Heyman and get Cornette on the opposite brand. That way you have two distinctive minds for wrestling that will write 2 completely different types of show, there by giving us variety instead of WWE1 and WWE2.

I agree... except that Cornette would rather be fired then book WWE. He's doing his "dream job" now.

I'd like to see Heyman on one show, and (god help me for saying this) Dusty Rhodes and Shane McMahon booking the other. Dusty won't push just his buddies because none of them work for the WWE. The contract will state that he can NEVER appear on camera, and Shane can filter the stupidity to a minimum.

Say what you want, but WCW was worse under Ole then Dusty, plus Dusty has more respect for WRESTLING then Gerwitz. And with Dusty, we can see War Games.

You do realize being turned over to creative and being on creative are two completley different things, right?

Indeed I did. I guess that's what I get for doing 3 different things at once.

Either he pissed off Gerwitz, or he was the one who kept suggesting that Trips lose the title.
