LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2003 I was excited about the US Title being brought back, but when i saw that piece of trash tonight i was disgusted. I was expecting the old U.S. Title which was tremendous looking to be brought back, but instead we get that hideous piece of metal. What is it with all the WWE Titles all havig the same look now with little differences in them. The WWE, World Tag Team, Cruiserweight, and now US Titles all look very similiar. They should have just did the same thing they did with the CW belt: take the old WCW design and tweak it a bit so that it's WWE-ized. Personally, I'd rather see a TV Title than a US Title. Keith does mention it as looking bad in his Smarkdown Rant. And why is this so bad? Someone saying they hate the new design of the US belt and wanting to see if others share the same opinion. If anyone seems to be bitching just for the hell of it, it's you. I don't really like it because of the lack of gold. A lot of gold just makes a belt seem more prestigious to me. But it's another title, and perhaps it will ignite something on the brand split PPVs. I just hope they do the right thing and not throw it on someone like Matt Hardy from the start and have him get his ass kicked all over the ring but still get all the DQ finishes and just basically throw it in the trash. Besides... if I am correct, the WCW U.S. title's lineage is in the IC title anyhow, so why not make a new WWE U.S. title? ... Not that WWE has ever gived a flying fuck about title lineages anyhow...
