syxx2001 Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 On the 6/9 episode of RAW, it was reported that Goldberg had some sort of angle changed that involved Chris Jericho doing something more serious to Goldberg, than the simple run-in and chairshot that we saw. Sources are reporting that the actual angle involved Jericho interfering in the Goldberg vs. Rosey match, only to injure Goldberg. After a medical examination in the back, a trainer would recommend Goldberg go to the hospital; advice he would heed. He'd then later come back to do the interview with Terri, only to be laid out again, in a more serious way than the chairshot we saw, from Chris Jericho. Nonetheless, very few really complained with the change, as they felt this did more justice to Goldberg's character. Credit: Observer Newsletter The plan right now is still looking towards a Mick Foley vs. HHH match to headline Summerslam. Originally, as many know, the plan was Goldberg/HHH. If this change is made, it will be the second time Goldberg loses his spot in a title match. Credit: Torch Newsletter's Powell Report
TheFranchise Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 If this change is made, it will be the second time Goldberg loses his spot in a title match. ^^^^^ Does anybody care about this? I'd rather see HHH/Foley than Goldberg/wrestler.
Adam Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 I'd rather see Foley/anyone than Goldberg/wrestler.
TheFranchise Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 Foley > Goldberg. Lock the thread, this one's done
Guest Ray Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 Am I the ONLY person who wants to see Triple H vs. Goldberg?
TheFranchise Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 Make it a retirement match and i'll up for it,
Lil' Bitch Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 <<<The plan right now is still looking towards a Mick Foley vs. HHH match to headline Summerslam.>>> I thought Foley was retired? He's been doing it for 3 years now, why stop? However, if this does happen, and HHH finally loses the title to Mick, it'll be worth coming out of retirement for.
EL DANDY~! Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 Watch as Foley wins at Summerslam and jobs the next night on RAW... You heard it here first...
Lil' Bitch Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 ^ Isn't that exactly what happened 4 years ago?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 ^ Isn't that exactly what happened 4 years ago? Yeah, that's cause Austin wouldn't put Hunter over...maybe he knew what he was doing all along.
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 Am I the ONLY person who wants to see Triple H vs. Goldberg? No, i do as well. If only to see the inring tension. How sad is it that Goldberg is losing his spot bc of WWEs pettiness over him getting pissed off about comments made about him by one of the leaders of the company. Im really a Goldberg hater at heart, but fuck wwe for their pettiness. Goldbergs a dissapointment? what exactly were you guys expecting? Hes never been a good worker. Hes never been good on the mic. Then, Linda has the nerve to say HES the dissapointment. No, Linda, youre writing team and judge of talent is the dissapointment
Lil' Bitch Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 Yeah, that's cause Austin wouldn't put Hunter over LMAO *remembers Survivor Series 2000 LMAO again *then remembers No Way Out 2001 and sheds a tear
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 Austin put HHH over at No Mercy 1999 Austin also laid down clean in that triple threat match. Jesse Ventura was in his hometown and they put a face over. It's not like Austin didn't put HHH over immediatly afterwards anyway.

I can only assume Jericho will do the job yet again unless the WWE are so fed up with Golberg that they'll make him job to Jericho just to spite him. As for Foley, will this be before or after he is sacrificed to Orton? And will the WWE be rewarding Foley with a title reign (presumably a long one) as a reward for coming back and putting over Orton? Also, can we pray that Golberg pulls a Bruiser Brody on HHH in the shower of the locker room before he goes away for good?
Guest wwF1587 Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 man i am not about to get my hopes up for any kind of a foley return title reign cause i know it will all be shot to hell... yeah foley deserves it but i dont want him to return unless he is winning the title for sure... HHH doesnt deserve to beat foley AGAIN for the what 4th time on ppv since 00... foley is too good for this shit
