NYC is one of two places that gives Tommy a big pop (with the other being Philly, obviously) so they job him out to someone who normally doesn't get a pop. Just brilliant. This obviously isn't the first time a credible wrestler lost in his hometown(Booker T in Houston TWICE), yet WWE gives hometown wins to undeserving wrestlers like Jacqueline who aren't even that over in their hometown. She's been the focal point of the division forever. They can only do so much with her in that position before it gets stale, considering there's only five other women right now. I doubt she has heat with anyone—this is just to keep her from getting overexposed. They're trying to mix it up a little, which is a smart decision on their part. This now begs 2 big questions: 1) Why the hell was RVD wearing his ring attire, when there was no plans for him to wrestle ? and.. 2) Why the fuck isn't RVD wrestling in Madison Square Garden, where he is tremendously over ?!
