To me, FPS that aren't Metroid Prime don't interest me.

Good for you, though.

the only FPS shooting game that is going to be better than Halo will be Halo 2

I hate FPSs, and the 23 minute Half-Life 2 video still made my pants tighter.

Where did I come back to when Metroid Prime is an FPS?

They did a great job making that game, but the actual vision and concept was horribly flawed. "Let's add the most unfun part of first person shooter games with the most annoying parts of 2D games! Sure, jumping puzzles suck in first person, but we'll just say that's some Metroid nostalgia and everybody will buy it. Oh, and enemies that respawn when you leave a room are stupid in platformers, so let's put it in here too!"

Halo 2 is going to be insanely awesome. I saw the video of the eight minute demo at E3. INSANE.
