Guest INXS Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Chris Nowinski has to be on roids. Look at his body on Tough Enough and then how he looked less then a year later when he showed up on WWE TV.
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Man... this is the type of thread that makes JR and HHH really hate the IWC :-) But guys, keep in mind, when a guy comes back in phenomenal shape, that getting back in shape IS their job. If I could go to the gym 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, I wouldn't be a fatass, either!
Guest Stunt Granny Report post Posted June 28, 2003 I don't think The Rock does roids, I saw the VH1 special on him and he was huge even in high school.
Guest Memphis Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Triple H is not on steroids. He just lifts REALLY heavy weights and has a history of baldness within his family. You hurtful bastards. M
Guest Mr Monday Night Report post Posted June 28, 2003 I dunno why, but I think Kurt Angle respects himself too much as an athlete to use roids.
Guest Memphis Report post Posted June 28, 2003 I dunno why, but I think Kurt Angle respects himself too much as an athlete to use roids. Kurt Angle is fucking huge though. I watched Royal Rumble 2000 the other day and barely recognised Angle due to how 'little' he appeared in contrast to his appearance today. A shitload of time in the gym will give you a great body, but one THAT great? I'm doubtful. M
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 I'd say Kurt is up there with Steiner and HHH as blatant users.

Before I challenge you on this, whom, in your opinion, has a 'great body'? Triple H? Kurt Angle is in phenominal shape and is pretty fuckin' ripped on top of that. To me, that is a great body. This sounds gay. M
Guest INXS Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Triple H, Randy Orton, Mr. Wonderful and Lex Luger. Doesn't mean their great wrestlers though. Kurt Angle has some cut but he's just thick.. Errr, this does sound gay.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Well, I don't have to worry about sounding gay, so I can be open about nice bodies. Kurt has a great body. Triple H's body is just too big, IMO. There is such thing. Of all the people INXS mentioned, Orton has the nicest body.
Guest JRE Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Orton doesn't seem "huge" though. I'd buy that he's not on roids. Plus, he's had plenty of time rehabbing to get in that good of shape.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Angle is not on steroids...if he uses the same workout as he was when he was an amatuer wrestler, then that explains his growth. They do some gruleing shit. And remember, when he first started out, he came from an amatuer wrestling background, where they have to watch their weight to stay in a division. When he joined the WWE, he didn't have those limitaions anymore, so there you go. Demott isn't, as he is smaller than he was years ago. He's less fat, just saying. Benoit has in the past, but not now, I don't think so. Rey Misterio, maybe, I doubt it though. Remember he had a year and a hlf or more to bulk up to WWE size before joining the WWE, and he doesn't look that much different, more cut. Some of those IS people on your list I question, i mean, serously. I actually think there is less people doing steroids in the WWE than most think. I think pain killer addiction would be a bigger problem.

Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted June 28, 2003 As bobybuilding is a passion of mine I've read a lot of literachure on it. The most important thing about bodybuilding is genetics bar none. End of story. I can't emphasize that enough. Some facts people might not know: 1)Just because someone's bigger doesn't mean they work out harder 2)There are lots of bodybuilders out there who just plain train wrong and that includes well developed physiques. They copy the riduculous routines of the pros in the muscle magazines who are often drug aided. 3)Longer training sessions are not usually benificial so a dedicated trainee who trains for hours a day can actually be a sign he's drug aided. You do a lot better in short intense bouts of exercise for development. Too much aerobic exercise is also a detriment to adding muscle 4)You do your growing during REST (and eating properly, Bodybuilding is 24/7) , not while you're training. I think there might be some growing while exercising but the catabolic effects of exercise overwhelm it. The thing is, wrestlers don't get much rest. It's well documented how much little sleep they get and how worn out they are. One other thing that hasn't been mentioned here is injuries. Injuries are very frustrating and detrimental to training. Wrestlers get injured all the time. On the other side of the coin in defence of the wrestlers on an overall level they tend to be very gentically gifted. When you're like this you can get away with doing detrimental things that less genetically gifted people can and still maintain a better physique. Like I said before I give everyone the benifit of dobut. I don't like it when someone says "He's on steroids" just because they see a little mass. Even if someone's on the juice I still repect them because they still have to lift to get a physique. Bodybuilding is tough. Anyway: Real Suspiscious List: Test, Christian, Vinnie Mac, Kevin Nash, Eddy Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, HHH, Steiner, Benoit, Cena, Undertapper, Kidman, Rey Mysterio Jr., at least one of La Resistance, Angle, The Rock (gyno could be genetic though) Batista, Lesnar, Kane although I think he may be off now, Hardcore Holly, maybe Jamie Knoble, Palumbo Possably off: Ultimo Dragon, Spike Dudley, Mark Henry(got a good hunch here), Storm, Booker T who just may have the best natural physique
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Christian? Really? I never thought he could be considered a suspect. He doesn't seem like he's on steroids.
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Kidman? On 'roids? I admit that I haven't seen him in several months, but has his physique really changed that much? It always seemed to me that Kidman was built like an average guy.
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Actually, maybe I was a little hasty saying Christian. He has had lots of acne though this could be natural or from legal supplements. As for Kidman his physique has improved a lot plus I'd say he's not as genetically blessed as others. Could be natural though. All you can really do is make an educated guess. One more note: Being in constantly ripped condition (low body fat) year round is suspiscious as well.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Hulk Hogan admitted to using steroids in the past. Scott Steiner....TWENTY-EIGHT INCH biceps?!! Come on now... Kane, high possibility. The guy used to be HUGE. Then when he came back last year, he lost a great deal of muscle mass. Vince McMahon, definitely. The guy is 57! He's older than Hogan AND Flair and he's in better looking shape than the both of them.
Guest Luke Cage Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Luke Cage Posted on Jun 27 2003, 04:28 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You'd be surprised at how many of the people on the "isn't" list should be on the "is" list... Such as? I'd like to know who too... well? Just because someone isn't covered in swollen muscles with lots of vascularization does not mean they are not a user. Genetics have a lot to do with it...Manute Bol could juice all he wanted, he wouldn't end up looking like Lex Luger. Sometimes steroid use can result in a simply bloated look. As stated in other posts, steroids can help speed up the healing process. Consider the high amount of risky stunts wrestlers have to engage in these days. When you combine that with a heavy travel schedule that doesn't allow for much rest and there ya go. Finally, I'm sure people here know, steroids are NOT a magic pill. Along with genetics you need to be dedicated to your weight training regimen. Enhancement drugs, painkillers, uppers, downers...with a few exceptions, I'd wager that most pro wrestlers bodies are virtual chemical stews.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Steiner in 2000 is maybe the biggest all-time barring Graham but he's getting smallerb by the week nowadays. Either he's taking a lot less or he's so genetically fucked up his body cannot maintain a stable size anymore. The only guys I'm 90% sure are on roids are: HHH, Test, Benoit, Cena, Brock, Eddy, Batista, Rene Dupree(I think I can't tell the Frnechies apart), Vince, Steiner(although questionable depending on his size the given week)
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Most wrestlers when given a push roid up. HHH did it in 99. Edge did it this year. Test is always doing it. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Christian were. He's trying to "look like a champion". Angle is probably on roids. That's a lot of bacne.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Thank you RRR. Everyone used the bacne bit for HHH and Angle has bacne like a motherfucker. I know, I've seen it up close at a house show. Angle is 5'9 and 230 ibs. That's awfully big for his height. I think he's on the juice.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted June 28, 2003 You think Edge was/is on the juice? Um, I don't really see it.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted June 28, 2003 When Edge came back from that month long shoulder injury, he was friggin huge up in his traps and shoulders but he's back to regular size now I'd say. The only thing Steph is on is a steady diet of dead cow.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 28, 2003 In terms of size, Edge didn't look all that different (he gained a few, yeah, but nothing really distinctive. He'll always be lanky). But he was gettin some mad bacne goin as well as some shoulderne. That's right, shoulderne.
Guest Mad the Swine Report post Posted June 28, 2003 A few notes: A) Steroids don't necessarily make you bigger. B) Steroids don't necessarily give you acne or baldness at a young age. Roddy Piper has admitted use and he isn't/wasn't exactly bald or laden with acne. C) Not every user is cycling huge amounts. Jim Brunzell admitted to steroid use while with the WWF in the 1980s, but never used much. D) You think the guys have time to exercise several hours every day? With the schedules that some of them have? E) I can't estimate percentages or numbers, but there are some who admitted they wouldn't be near 220 lbs. without the juice. Guest RollingSambos Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Remember when Kane got in AWESOME shape for a brief period in '99? He lost like all of his body fat...he was just 6'9" of pure muscle.
Just John 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Roided Chavo Guerrero Lance Storm Mark Henry I disagree with those. My memory may be a little fuzzy, but Chavo never seemed that big. Storm looks pretty natural, and Henry was an olympic athlete where they're tested constantly.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Henry and Storm are natural as far as I am concerned... Chavo got on the Uncle Eddy Treatment...
