Lil' Bitch Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 If it is presented the right way, and the build up to each match makes it seem like 'this is the one' that Goldberg could lose, then yes. People believe in those six names, and if they are made to believe that each one has a real chance of beating Goldberg, then they will pay to see if they can beat Goldberg. If it's presented in the right way, people will look past the similar nature of the matches, and instead be thinking that 'this time Goldberg will get beaten'. If an indestructible monster is matched against someone that the poeple believe is the one who will finally slay him, then it WILL draw, because people will believe that this time, the monster is going to get beaten. If the belief is there, then so is the drawing power. To all that you have said, if anything, this is all working for HHH.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 That's right, and all it drew were flies. "If its presented the right way" is another empty phrase because it is always used for EVERYTHING, no matter how delusional it is. And face it, thinking any of the six you mentioned is going to get dominated throughout the buildup, and lose clean in seven minutes for the actual match, is 100% pure delusion.
